"WWE UK Superstar Tyler Bate has reportedly fallen out of favor with company officials, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The heat goes back to before Bate lost the WWE UK Title to current champion Pete Dunne at WWE NXT "Takeover: Chicago" in May of 2017. Apparently there was a situation where WWE wanted to book Bate on a main roster tour but he had made other plans and couldn't work the tour. It was noted that WWE called Bate late for the bookings but he had other plans."

This sounds like what happened to Goldberg during his first WWE run.

Rumor was they wanted him to work an Australian tour & he declined...
which is why he lost that infamous Elimination Chamber match.

I guess if the WWE ask you to work & you say no...well...I'm not surprised
that decision would cause heat backstage.

"other plans"
Can we get some information on what these "other plans" were?

And if you're a wrestler working for the WWE...what "other plans"
could you possibly have that were more important than showing
up and wrestling...besides say a dying family member?

Meh, sounds like a made-up story.

Plus, didn't WWE allow the UK guys they signed to work for other indie promotions in the first place? Bate and the rest of the UK guys have to work for other promotions in order to earn some money. That's what these "other plans" are, I am sure. So, yeah, this sounds like it was made up.
