Triple H's Promo

Found this purely on reddit, but thought it was pretty sweet. In HHH's promo last night, he said "The coal has become diamond" when Orton came out. In Evolution's debut promo, he said that Randy was coal that would be squeezed into diamond. Here's the video, he says it around 6:24.



Found that really cool that WWE may have finally learned continuity.

Trips promo was a very well put together heel promo. He made a couple of ribs at the IWC as well. Like saying bury like 5 times.

I loved his promo from the start, but then it became tedious imo. A bit too repetitive and he just spoke too much. Still I mark for heel HHH so it isn't too bad a thing.

I'd have to agree with you. I thought it was a bit too long and he ended up repeating himself several times. Near the end I just wanted him to put an end to his promo and move forward with the segment.

I haven't seen the new promo yet, but I'm marking (thats the correct term I guess?) on the continuity thing. Love that shit.

Did everyone notice how HHH referred to Orton turning into diamond from coal? He called Orton the coal that would be squeezed into a diamond when Evolution first formed.

Was cool to see him reference something from so long ago and continue that story..
