WWE’s Trick Williams to Guest Star on ‘All American’ Season 7 Finale (EXCLUSIVE)
Trick Williams, a breakout star in WWE's NXT brand, is set for a guest star role in "All American."

Trick Williams, a breakout star in WWE‘s NXT brand, is set for a guest star role in “All American.”
Variety has learned exclusively that Williams will appear in the Season 7 finale of The CW football drama. Williams will play Eddie Blair, the Athletic Director of South Crenshaw High. The role actually marks a return to the show for Williams, who previously worked as an extra during the show’s third season.
“I am super excited to be a part of this new season of ‘All American,'” Williams said. “They treated me like royalty, put me in my own trailer, and made sure I looked top tier. I really appreciated that because four years ago, I was working as an extra–as a kicker–for South Crenshaw. To come back as the AD for Crenshaw is super surreal and a true full-circle moment for me. They have a great cast and crew, incredible directors, and a strong team. It was an honor be a part of the show.”
Williams was himself a standout football player in his youth, but transitioned to pro wrestling in 2018. He signed with WWE in 2021 and debuted in NXT not long after. Currently one of the top stars in NXT, Williams is a two-time NXT Champion, the former NXT North American Champion, and the winner of the 2023 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
NXT debuted on The CW in October 2024 under a new five-year deal between the WWE and the broadcast network. Previously, fellow NXT star Tony D made a guest appearance on the CW series “Wild Cards” in January.
“All American” is the last remaining completely original scripted series at The CW, with the network having shifted more to foreign imports, unscripted, and sports programming. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Jameal Turner, Sarah Schechter , and David Strauss.
