Whether you love him or hate him, you have to respect him. He's the most iconic figure that's ever been in wrestling. He's immortal. This video will highlight some of his greatest achievements, as well as some of the cool moments that's happened in his career. I hope you all respect Hogan as much as I do.

I do, even if you aren't a big fan of his, you can't deny how much of a legend he is within the sport, and if you was to mention wrestling to anyone, he would probably be one of the ones people have hears of.

Indeed, he was a key figure in WWF's national expansion and thus very popular within the industry.

True, but you still can't deny just how well known Hogan is. Vince would still be where he is without Hogan, however you can't deny that Hogan helped out Vince & co with probably bringing more people into watching it.

For the most part, that's all true. Vince didn't know Hogan was going to be as successful as he was when Hogan was first hired. Hogan just happened to be pushed a lot and had the right gimmicks. If Cena was wrestling around that time, and Hogan had the same gimmick that he used to have, used on todays RAW, then Cena would have been the biggest icon in the WWE.. Only reason Hogan is, is because he played the company face for so many years and brought the WCW/WWF A LOT of money.

True Rhodes, Vince didn't know how successful Hogan was going to be, no one ever does before they sign someone, but like you say, he certainly had the right gimmicks and at the time, it certainly worked out well for the WWE industry, I also agree with him being in the industry for years certainly helped too.
