So, I have a friend who is a male, but he wants to turn into a woman, and he is currently on hormones. Already 3 months. Basically he told me he will take those hormones until he can finally reach the level for a surgery.

I never had no problem with transsexual people, and have no problem with gay guys either. I look at everyone as a normal person.

My question is do you know any people that are on hormones, that want to change their sex?

And second question, how is your outlook on such a thing as male to female transformation, and vice versa?

I have a friend from college who hasn't worn a suite since he was 15. He's going through the treatment.

I basically don't care about if he wants to be a she or not. (s)He's still a nice person and that is good enough for me.

Everyone should be allowed to be whoever they want.

Yeah, my friend Nick, I met him in Fleet Street (London)

I actually don't really care, it's their own body, they're free to do whatever they like with it

I don't know anyone and don't give a crap what people want to do with their lives.

Best of luck to him, or her. I don't want to offend said person, so i used both.

My friend told me once that when he was studying to become a plumber that there was a girl there who was going through the stages of transformation.
As for Transgender it self it is not something that bothers me but you always get a few idiots who will find it repulsive.

It's their bodies and their decision. If they feel like they were born in the wrong body and identify as something different, it's none of my business and I can respect and honor those feelings. I might not know what it feels like personally to feel that way but the least I can do is respect it. I don't know anyone going through these sorts of procedures, and I don't have a problem with transgender people.

Nope don't know any, although I have thought about it in the past.

I don't care, I'm not judgmental at all when it comes to sexuality, gender, or race. If I dislike you, it's because of who you are.

I don't personally know anyone in that situation, no. However, I like the band Against Me! and had the utmost respect for her when lead singer Tom Gabel announced that he was going to go through the process to become a woman, Laura Jane Grace. For people in those situations, I say more power to them. If anything, Laura only gained more of my respect and admiration by making this choice for herself despite the public attention and being an example for others who may be bothered with feeling things similar to what she felt.

There was recently an article published about her first year as a woman which I thought was quite interesting. You can read it here:

Nope, I don't know anybody like this. My thoughts on it are quite simply, I don't quite understand it but I also couldn't care less about it.
