Oh man am I excited about this one. Two of the greatest tag teams to ever grace All Japan Pro Wrestling, meeting each other in outstanding tag team action. For the All Japan Tag Team Titles no less!

The year was 1993, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams & Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy had formed an elite super team of former Triple Crown champions known as the Miracle Violence Connection. They had run roughshed over the best and brightest of Japan as well as the upstart WCW promotion in North America.

One of their greatest rivalries was against Toshiaki Kawada & Mitsuharu Misawa. Who they had feuded with for many years. However, when Misawa was out on his quest for singles championship gold around this time, Kawada had formed the unexpected tag team with former Sumo Wrestler Akira Taue. They ended up surprisingly having dynamite chemistry and even had defeated the seemingly unstoppable force of Dr. Death & Bamm Bamm two months earlier than this fight.

This was, for all intents and purposes, a rematch between the two. Kawada & Taue the defending champions, Williams & Gordy now the challengers. Two of the greatest tag teams going head to head, for the most prestigious tag team prize of that era.

Fight On!

Probably one of the best tag matches ever. Definitely the best tag match of the past 20 years!! Good stuff, I really hope every fanboy of every promotion that claims that their product is wrestling watches this. This is wrestling, every American puro rip-off like RoH and PWG can't even compare to this, they're poor bastardized versions.
