– Popular entertainment website Just Jared reports that Hollywood heavyweights Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Charlize Theron have all been spotted wearing the Lauren Jones ‘Franci’ Sandal. The high heel shoe was created by former WWE Diva Lauren Jones, who sporadically appeared for SmackDown in 2004 and 2005. She launched a shoe line in 2009, which has recently taken off.
Jones mutually parted ways with WWE in June 2005 because company officials pushed her to become a wrestler when she wanted to pursue other opportunities. WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, who brought Jones to the organization in 2004 after she appeared as a model for a WWE Magazine photo shoot, has since made overtures to the entrepreneur/entertainment personality about returning. She met with the WWE exec as recently as last fall, but could not come to terms on a contract.
– Zack Ryder announced this afternoon on his Twitter account that his newly released T-Shirt outsold T-Shirts featuring The Rock at last night’s Raw event.
Ryder wrote, “Was just informed that I sold more T-Shirts than @TheRock last night at RAW…WWWYKI.”
– In a correction from a report last night, the WWE Magazine cover shown during last night’s episode of Raw is the September 2011 issue, not a special edition. John Cena, The Miz, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Jack Swagger, Christian, Wade Barrett and R-Truth are featured on the cover.
