Tony Khan teases new signing on radio show

Tony Khan has teased a "dream signing" coming "pretty soon" to AEW.

Appearing in an interview on New York radio station Z 100, AEW president, head of creative and GM Tony Khan was asked by interviewer Josh Martinez whether there was a "dream signing," and whether or not that signing would come from North America. The transcript:

Martinez: Is there any, I'll call it a dream signing, that you're kind of going after? And you can say yes or no, you don't have to go into details. But I just want to know, are they in North America or are they not? That's all I want to know.

Khan: There is, they are in North America, and they're coming. And, pretty soon. And it's going to be awesome, I'm very excited.

AEW Dynamite makes its TBS debut on Wednesday, January 5, with three title matches taking place on the show.

World Champion Hangman page defends against Bryan Danielson, The Lucha Bros defend the AEW World Tag Team titles against Jurassic Express, plus Jade Cargill faces Ruby Soho to crown the first-ever TBS Champion.

I'd be pretty bummed but I could see it and this being a Christian like thing where TK is a personal mark of the guy and he's great but it's not really the type of impact fans actually want

But for me I'm really not sure there's a dream signing left (at least with the NA qualifier), some guys I'd like a lot but I think calling it a "dream signing" is just asking for complaints even if they'll mostly be from people that don't watch. Can't be turning into Dixie Carter tho lmao

to be fair tho, the interviewer worded it that way, and tk answered. he didnt lead with that
