During an appearance on WFAN's Moose & Maggie today, Tony Khan was asked if the former Bray Wyatt will be the next major addition to the AEW roster.

"He's a great wrestler, and I got to be honest, we haven't really talked at all," Khan said. "I've known him in personal life and I've gotten to spend a little bit of time with him. But as far as that, we haven't talked. I saw lots of rumors, but that's not something anybody's really talked about. But I think, you know, you never know."

Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) was released by WWE on July 31. He was told that budget cuts were the reason for his release.

Wyatt's final match for WWE was at WrestleMania 37 this April, where Randy Orton defeated The Fiend.

Wyatt made his in-ring debut in 2009 as part of WWE developmental. He was a two-time Universal Champion and a one-time WWE Champion during his WWE career, along with holding the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team titles one time each.

I'm on the fence about this.

On one end it sounds like he's potentially not interested.

On the more logical end...Bray is still a WWE employee so that would be tampering. So he's obviously...not going to say yes. He didn't talk to Malakai until 3 days prior to his debut.

Whether they’re talking right now or not, Wyatt is gonna end up there at some point.

Never been a fan of the guy. Been very open about that. I don’t see him as a big “get” for AEW, especially since Malaki Black is doing what he’d probably be doing.

But he’s a name. And as it’s been mentioned before, the money mark isn’t going to pass up the chance to sign a name(unless you’re Tessa Blanchard)

:lol bullshit they're not talking.

I'd say though the better fit for Wyatt would be the ol' Impact zone. Would get way too lost in the shuffle in A-E-Dubya (he's not alone there tbf).

Forbidden door could see him do some stuff on AEW, and the Dark Order stuff needs to end imo
