During a media interview to promote AEW All In 2024 tickets going on sale, Tony Khan was asked about CM Punk's WWE return.
Punk made his return to WWE at Survivor Series in Chicago on Saturday night. The appearance came less than three months after Punk's AEW contract was terminated with cause following a backstage incident that took place at All In 2023.
Steve Hermon of BBC Radio West Midlands asked Khan if he was surprised to see Punk appear at Survivor Series.
"Can't talk about that, nor do I think it's the time or the place," Khan responded. "But I appreciate you asking, and I'm very excited about AEW All In Wembley Stadium. Not to dodge or duck your question, it's just not something I can legally talk about."
Punk's Survivor Series return was his first time appearing for WWE since walking out of the company nearly a decade ago. Punk appeared after the men's WarGames match at Saturday night's event.
WWE has confirmed that Punk will be appearing on Monday night's Survivor Series fallout edition of Raw. It appears that WWE is building up a feud between Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
The pre-sale for AEW All In tickets began today. The general public-on sale starts this Friday (December 1). The show is taking place on August 25, 2024.
