According to Tony Khan, AEW All In brought in around 200,000 pay-per-view buys which would be second-best in company history.

That was just one of the topics discussed during Khan's hour-long media call Thursday to promote Saturday's Full Gear, the full audio of which can be found for free below.

It was the first time Khan had confirmed the number for their debut event from London's Wembley Stadium. Later in the call, Khan said this year has been their best revenue-wise in company history, buoyed by their run of PPVs which brought in money "hand over fist."

Asked if knew why Bryan Danielson was pulled from a Wrestlecade event, Khan wasn't familiar with the show, but said AEW is waiting on getting final clearance for Danielson to fly due to his broken orbital bone. Danielson actually drove to Oakland for last weekend's Collision so he could be there.

He said Full Gear is trending toward the $1 million gate mark and is currently closer to $900,000. He is hoping for a great walkup this weekend.

Here's some other key notes:
  • Khan didn't divulge any information about how they are handling Sting's final run toward retirement at Revolution which is assumed to be in March based on past years.
  • Asked about whether there's a desire to increase female involvement backstage amid reports of VP Megha Parekh focusing on NFL matters instead, Khan brought up both Sarah Stock & Madison Rayne as people he relies on a lot. He mentioned how Stock is working with both men and women, citing her ability to speak Spanish being a positive in working with luchadors.
  • Khan said he came to Toni Storm a long time ago as they had a shared vision of her current "Timeless" character, around the same time he wanted to bring in Mariah May which he said took longer than expected. He's been heavily involved in the character and has tried to both feature her more and present her differently, hinting there's more development to come.
  • He said increased PPVs has been great for the bottom line and something he was confident in by studying through the years. He said they are bringing in money "hand over fist" with their PPVs and that All In did over 200,000 buys with 2023 as their overall best revenue year yet. "We've built a nice calendar this year that is sustainable," he said.
  • He hinted at some cross-promotion with the upcoming Iron Claw movie as AEW heads to Dallas in December -- the same month the movie comes out.
