As previously reported the current plan is for Ken Kennedy to be revealed as Mr. McMahon's illegitimate son. If something would happen and the storyline would end up bombing, WWE has a contingency plan to fall back on. The plan would be to say that Kennedy "forged" the papers and lab results and is a con artist trying to get into a billionaire family.
The entire McMahon family will be involved in the angle with Stephanie getting involved sometime around October or November. This will then involve Triple H as he will come in and make the save revealing himself as Vince's son-in-law therefore setting the stage for the RAW main event at WrestleMania with him as a babyface vs. Kennedy, likely for the title with the entire McMahon family somehow involved.
USA Network's Bonnie Hammer loves the idea of the angle and wants another big three-hour special in October like WWE did last year with the Homecoming show. This will most likely be the show that reveals Kennedy as McMahon's son. Hints will be dropped on RAW each week until that edition.
Shane was told that he won't be needed in the ring until around the time of Royal Rumble. He will probably be Kennedy's first family victim.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts tried to open doors to get a job with WWE, but at this point, it appears doubtful he'll be brought back.
In a 2001 interview with Playboy magazine, Vince McMahon was asked about doing a fake death angle. "A death scene? No that wouldn't be reality," McMahon said.
WWE has released a handful of wrestlers over the past few weeks. Expect some more talent to be released. However, the cuts will likely take place in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling. One person rumored to be on the chopping block is Krissy Vaine, who has been under developmental contract since January 2006.
OVW wrestler Chet The Jett was told by Johnny Ace that he was going to be given a Polish gimmick and would get brought up to the main WWE roster soon.
Mick Foley has been trying to get a larger and more regular role on Raw. However, Vince McMahon is not in his corner at the moment, basically thinking that Foley was a big deal in a few years but doesn't really click with the fans today. Triple H has had the same criticism of Foley over the past year as well.
Despite a recent interview with Matt Hardy where he stated otherwise, a WWE United States Title Match between champion MVP and Hardy isn't likely for this Sunday's SummerSlam PPV. The company is still said to be hesitant to involve MVP in a match due to his health situation.
The Miami Herald has an article up with the band Killswitch Engage and how they wrote the song "This Fire Burns" originally for Randy Orton, but it then ended up as CM Punk's theme.
Marcus Cor Von is currently on a leave of absence from WWE. There was a family situation where he was forced to take care of his nieces and nephews due to problems within the family with his sister not being able to do so. He hasn't appeared in a WWE ring since the 6/19 ECW on Sci-Fi show.
Stevie Richards is getting a push due to several good reviews from WWE road agents. Richards has always been high on the McMahons' list of well-liked performers. In recent years, he was depushed due to a confrontation with writer Dave Lagauna over the creative direction of his character. Now thanks to the producers, he's getting a push.
WWE has added Finlay vs. Kane to SummerSlam this Sunday.
At 2am EST Friday morning on FoxNews, Rey Mysterio will be a guest on the show "Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld".

Brock Lesnar recently commented on if he had spoken with UFC President Dana White: "We've spoken. I cannot deny or confirm anything. I'm just telling you this, I'm going to be there Saturday night and I'm looking for a win. I don't care who it is. If I had to fight somebody, I'd like to fight Randy [Couture]. I'll fight [Gabriel] Gonzaga. We'll see what happens."
Note from me: Being a fan of UFC and someone who follows MMA very closely, Brock Lesnar is absolutely crazy if he thinks the UFC would put him in the octagon with big names like Randy Couture or Tim Sylvia. Everyone needs to prove themselves and this is not the way to go for Lesnar if he wants to get a deal with UFC.
Rey Mysterio made an appearance on Fox News earlier today. Mysterio was asked about steroids and he said he had never taken them. When asked what it would mean if his name was released in an investigation, Mysterio responded saying his name would only be connected to pain medication. He added that wrestlers of today were a "different breed" from their predecessors. Mysterio later said the wrestlers are there to entertain and that is all they do. He quickly plugged SummerSlam this Sunday and said any connection he had to Dr. Phil Astin was for pain medication due to his six different knee operations. Mysterio said he never knew Chris Benoit was using steroids and even though he was a very close friend, he never talked about steroids. One report described Mysterio as looking very uncomfortable when the topic of steroids was brought up by the Fox hosts on the show.
MVP vs. Matt Hardy for the WWE U.S. Title has been officially cancelled for SummerSlam this Sunday.
Well, Kennedy went on Fox News once and said that Benoit said something about how he took steriods once and even Kennedy admited to taking steriods in the Indys, but very, very small amounts...and Orton, Cena and HBK not in the Raw ME of WrestleMania??? I think HHH/Kennedy would be good anyways and I see HHH taking the title from Orton at Survivor Series or Armageddon...possibly Royal Rumble...
