Last week, TNA cameras caught a wild backstage brawl between former Knockouts Champion Angelina Love and current champ Gail Kim. The brawl erupted after Gail successfully defended her title in a 4-way match against Angelina, her partner Velvet Sky and Taryn Terrell – and was fueled by Angelina’s belief that she has yet to receive a fair rematch, since losing the title to Gail two months ago.
Well, ask and you shall receive! Executive Director Kurt Angle addressed the attack and has confirmed that, on Wednesday (IMPACT’s new night), Gail vs Angelina will take place at Hardcore Justice. However, it won’t be just any old matchup. This will be a Last Knockout Standing match for the title.
