For months, TNA got praise for "pushing young talent". Matt Morgan, Hernandez, Abyss, my God, so many new faces in the main event. Finally they are doing the right thing.

What did I say? Been there done that. Call me if they continue their momentum after BFG.

Well, BFG is over and let me tell you, no, hell no, they haven't kept their momentum. It's Kaz, Chris Harris, Jade Lethal all over again. Hernandez, a force to be reckoned with not so long ago...finds himself getting Gored and pinned by Rhino at a PPV, Matt Morgan's momentum of semi main eventing BFG is lost.

It's a joke. Matt Morgan and Hernandez, shipped as main eventers a few weeks ago...are feuding with Team 3D and Rhino? Give me a break. Seriously.

They are part of a top program on the show. No they aren't main eventing, but they aren't at the bottom of the show. It's Styles/Daniels/Joe > Angle/Wolfe > then the paranoid oldies/young guys.

And actuallly Hernandez wasn't in the main event. He was feuding with Young. He cashed in his feast or fired case in a main event match, but even that was all about him and Young as Young interferred and toke him out. Abyys is still in a program with Foley and Stevie. Desmond Wolfe has been added to main eventing as well as Daniels and Joe. So they are still pushing new guys.

Would be a crime if on top of that they are pushed down to the bottom of the show. Then again, one could see angles like the upcoming paranoia one with Hulk Hogan's arrival and even Scott vs Lashley on top of that.

Evem if you see it like that, it's still a depush. Hernandez vs Young was set in a higher priority than where Hernandez is right now, Matt Morgan went from Kurt Angle to this feud. Feuding Dr. Stevie is where Abyss was not long ago and is damn sure no push and only Wolfe is justified.

Oh, so just like Rhodes and DiBiase were supposed to be higher on the draw after their feud with DX? Seriously, you're blind hate for TNA is so confusing. Just sit back and watch it. Enjoy what they are giving us atm. Guns/Invasion/Beer Money, Angle/Nigel, AJ/Daniels/Joe stuff. There's a lot more positives going on right now than negatives, from a roster/booking standpoint.

IMO, if it wasnt for Any of the oldies, the guys would be getting larger pushes to main event. I have a question CMS, how do you consider Abyss squashing Stevie and bickering with Foley a 'push'? now Raven, thats what the focus of the feud should have been Raven/Abyss

Oh, so just like Rhodes and DiBiase were supposed to be higher on the draw after their feud with DX?

Going back to "if WWE is doing it" (or more accuratedly in this case, "if WWE isn't doing it"), TNA shouldnt be judge for not doing it, is the worst way of defending it.

Yeah they were supposed to be up in the card, I have said it myself before, TNA still dropped the pushes of Morgan and Hernandez,

EDIT: That's what I am saying, in any way or form, Abyss feuding with Stevie Richards is a damn push.

Agree with Peepshow 100%.

So they're not totally pushing Matt Morgan and Hernandez over the moon right now. So what? They are in one of the biggest programs right now in a very central storyline that involves TNA's current conflict. The Veterans Vs. The Young Guys. The veterans are paranoid that the younger generation are taking their spots, and Morgan and Hernandez are being billed as the FUTURE of TNA. Not the present, not currently the biggest thing going today, but the FUTURE. Get it?

Also, Desmond Wolf is new talent (less than 2 months old in fact) and he's already getting a huge upper mid card push. I'd say thats pushing new talent.

Also, we are finally seeing the Motor City Machine Guns getting a tag title program, that's certainly a push.

Considering your one of the guys who defend WWE all the time about their pushes. Saying how Evan Bourne has been getting a push just because he was moved over from ECW. How any little program that a WWE undercarder gets you consider a "big push that's the talents fault if they don't get over".

And yet TNA can be running half a dozen big angles with younger stars and none of that constitutes a push and/or good booking in your mind?

I think it's time you re-evaluated your thoughts on TNA man. WWE's becoming LESS wrestling oriented with less than 20 minutes of wrestling time per RAW. And TNA's the one that is actually growing and developing it's wrestling talent.

We've been through this Anti-TNA debate over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Are you EVER going to give it a rest and give them even the tiniest bit of credit for anything they do?

If you haven't noticed, hating on TNA just for the sake of hating on TNA is old news. They've been making consistent improvements over the past six months. And it's your own fault if you refuse to acknowledge a single good thing about iMPACT, not TNA's.

Abyss is still doing the same thing he's been doing for months... and that is feuding with Stevie. There has just been different guys added to the mix. Raven, Foley, and now Raven again.

Hernandez now (imo) is in a position higher than where he was before feuding with Young. Young's not even feuding with anyone right now.

Matt Morgan is the only one that I see that's not being up as high as he was before. Maybe they realized he was being pushed to high to quick. Maybe they saw that he wasn't ready yet. But still, he's part of the 3rd top program on the show.

Just because Morgan has been pushed doesn't mean that the new guy push has stopped. Morgan may have been pushed down, but Wolfe has taken his place. Morgan was put over many times by Angle during his promos after BFG. Burke now appears to be have been added to the paranoid storyline. There's someone else who's being pushed. What about Red? The man went from jobbing to being a top priority in the X-division. They aren't being pushed to the top of the card, but they are still being pushed to something better than what they were doing before, besides Morgan that is.

It amuses me you are all determined into sticking WWE in a TNA argument. Fine by me.

By the logic of "people getting billed as the future", guys like Swagger, Rhodes, DiBiase, Ziggler, Morrison, Miz, all are doing great and being booked great because they are billed just like that and aren't on the bottom of the card.

I really, really want to see you quote me on any time I have said that. If anything, I have always said younger people should be getting chances, not in a mad way of turning the main event upside down, but getting them. Just lol, I am pretty sure I have never said what you claim I have.

As for the rest of hating TNA and hating on what they have been doing...at any point have I said their booking has sucked? Have I at any point in this thread said that they are doing no good. Hell no, in a way, this thread isnt even targetted directly toward TNA itself, but against all of the people who were claiming TNA was going to push Hernandez and Matt Morgan to the moon before/after BFG, and they have stopped their push (which it's a fact).

Hernandez and Morgan are both at a higher level then they were once at, Hernandez and Morgan were in shitty tag teams doing nothing not so long ago and now theyre both feuding with Team 3D, one of the most well known tag teams in recent memory and a former TNA World Champ, pretty sure I'd rather be where they currently are rather then where they were before and thats because they have been pushed and are now at a higher part of their careers. Morgan and Hernandez had world title shots, sure they aren't still in the world title picture but that doesn't mean theyve stopped being pushed because theyre still currently above where they were before their pushes.

Not to mention TNA gave Daniels a World Championship Match and also brought Samoa Joe back to World title level, also Desmond Wolfe just came in and is feuding with their biggest star in Kurt Angle, pretty sure that's young talent being pushed.

Also, don't know what you were talking about with Abyss in your original post, you said so many new faces in the main event? Abyss wasn't in the Main Event but what he was/is doing with Stevie, Foley and Raven is much better then the crap he was doing before that began where he was just in stupid little segments with the backstage announcer, pushing new talent again.

No, it is not a fact. Not even close. It's your opinion. Unless of course you're trying to pass off your opinion as fact, which is foolish.

Their push has not stopped. They are still being billed as the top younger stars in the company, and are still in a prominent upper card feud.

I wasn't aware that any and every push TNA does has to do with the world title instead of just having a quality personal feud. What's that say for Kofi Vs. Orton? No wonder you don't think they're pushing anybody.

And yes, I keep on bringing back WWE into the argument because you guys have been praising WWE's work lately for doing LESS pushing of new stars than TNA has. It's not the fact that TNA should get a free pass if they are doing things wrong, it's the fact that you are focusing your attention on trashing a company constantly that doesn't even get a third of the ratings that WWE gets. Instead of looking at WWE for their faults being as they are the industry standard that the public looks at for wrestling.

Yes TNA has been improving steadily for the past six months. But that's just it. They've ONLY been making a turn around for the past six months. WWE marks have been trying to pass off RAW as quality programming for even longer than that. So it pisses me off when people would rather keep harping on TNA when there are obvious variables going on with the WWE right now that SHOULD be a higher priority on the bitch list.

Six months ago I would be agreeing with you whole heartedly and laughing along side you about the Sid situation, moaning about the pushing of younger stars ect. ect. I CAN nitpick certain storylines if I wanted to on TNA. (Where they are exactly heading with D'Angelo Dinero, Suicide not knowing who he's fueding with on any given week, Beer Money having their "last" title shot last month, and yet a week later getting another title shot and even at this Turning Point PPV getting yet another title shot).

So I know there are still improvements to be made with TNA's product. But you're picking apart ALL THE WRONG THINGS. I can't imagine that you've actually been watching Impact for the past six months like I have and you can honestly still have such an extremely bias opinion against them.

I am a TNA convert. I HATED the company during the majority of the Main Event Mafia run. But I have recognized that they have been making incredible strides as of late. And it's amazing to me how you can be so blind to not see a single improvement.

Feuding with 3D > no television time.

Morgan and Hernandez are still solidifying their spots. Not long ago, Hernandez was still tagging with Homicide. And Morgan was tagging with Abyss. Besides only one certain example, it would be wrong for them to be shoved straight into title programs, like some expected. So what if they're with three experienced guys in the ring? 3D and Rhino are more than useful to providing building blocks for Morgan and Hernandez to push off of.

With Hernandez especially, they needed to prove him as a singles competitor after spending the best part of 2 years with Homicide. So they split them, gave him a couple of singles matches (including the squash against Joe) to show that he CAN cope without someone in his corner. Now they've put him with Morgan, where the inevitable split will happen sometime and they will feud with each other, hopefully getting both into the main event. But currently, they're getting both guys over as a tough team, and I fully expect them to win the blow off match against Rhino, 3D and that. Hell, it could be a great chance to get Burke over as well.

Hernandez was injured for a few months before he broke up with Homicide upon return, right? That's probably why it seems like he was doing nothing before.

Anyway, this is the same type of story i've seen a million times. But CMS has somewhat of a point this time, strictly speaking of Hernandez and Morgan. But they had to do something, Daniels and Joe were a smarter choice to go for the world title, and Nash is still fucking up EY's Global title push. And if he is trying to say that the young wrestlers as a whole are getting depushed, that's where it goes into "laughable TNA hating land".

One thing about Hernandez and Morgan, I just hope they don't get in the way of the Guns getting their titles run. :(

Just to point oput everyone whos gettin pushed is getting pushed against veterns.
Team 3D and Rhyno - ECW, there knw wrestling
Kurt Angle - Olympic Gold Medalist against one of the top UK talents ever.
James Storm, Doug Williams and Robert Roode - Tag team experts.

Sorry to say but with fued going on with these guys about it is easy to see why TNA is pushing young talent with Veterns.
