We can’t 100% know for sure he doesn’t still buy ROH. Which I mean maybe he doesn’t? Cause I mean what hurt ROH was for sure losing some of the people they did, and it’s reasonable to say maybe they don’t lose those people, or at least all of them if he got TNA. So perhaps you’re right. Either way, I’m happy with the timeline we did get because I don’t how the other would truly feel and look.
I guess you can’t say for sure that he wouldn’t have still bought ROH, but I think it was far more likely he was always gonna buy a Ring of Honor over TNA anyway so I think if you got a Ring of Honor and put it on TNT I think TNA and MLW would both be in much stronger spot today under the number 2 ROH.
Which funnily enough would gel perfectly with the NJPW and CMLL partnership today.
I fully expect to stay alone on this opinion, but it’s actually one I’ve had since about 2021. Just as someone that keeps trying to get into ROH, TNA and MLW since AEW popped up. They all looked awesome in 2018. If you look at a 2018 picture and you look at those three companies, they all looked at least twice as good as what any of them are doing today.
But like I said, don’t get me wrong AEW being the first company since WCW to even get this close to a number two national space with a streaming and TV deal like they just got is amazing.
