A wave of change is coming... Who will ride it, and who will be swept away?
The WWE Network is going through a messy transition, so it's time for a TNA PPV! Appropriate that it's one from a time where the eyes of the wrestling world are once again on Orlando, as it's recently been announced that Hulk Hogan has signed with the company and will make some huge changes beginning in 2010. Optimists remember how his star power built up WCW, whilst pessimists remember how his egoism tore down WCW. But that's for later, and now it's time for TNA's talent to tear the house down, in a show that in hindsight feels like the stars of the company giving their best one last time before it all ends.
Eight matches on the card, and it's a HUGE one.
- The runback of TNA's first ever five-star classic! This time, it's for the World Heavyweight Championship, in a match that's symbolic of how far the TNA Originals have come (and how far they will fall next year). AJ Styles defends his title against both Samoa Joe and Daniels!
- Speaking of stacked three-ways, the World Tag Team Championship is on the line as the British Invasion takes on both the Motor City Machine Guns and Beer Money!
- A double title match in the Knockouts division, as Knockouts Champion ODB and Knockouts Tag Team Champions Sarita and Taylor Wilde face off against the Beautiful People! Winning side gets all the belts!
- Amazing Red defends his X Division Championship against Homicide, with Red's new biggest fan, Don West, supporting him!
- Desmond Wolfe takes on Kurt Angle, in a match where the Brit has a chance to make himself a star, no matter whether he wins or not.
- If you don't like technical skill, how about two big muscly men throwing each other into stuff? Scott Steiner faces Bobby Lashley, and it's Falls Count Anywhere!
- Tara is trapped in the Six Sides of Steel with the devastating Awesome Kong!! Can she possibly survive?
- A makeshift ECW Originals team of Team 3D and Rhino takes on Matt Morgan, Hernandez, and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero! These are just two teams you want to cheer, and notably, all three members of the "heel" team were turned face by 2010.
