TNA: The Next Chapter

On 19th September 2009, the TNA owners met for an important meeting to decide what the next step was going to be to allow the business to step forward and compete with the mass flooding of the market that the WWE had recently started to do, introducing a fourth weekly show in the form of “Superstarâ€. Although, there wasn’t a mass agreement on the idea it was decided that how TNA would run and appear to the public would change immediately after the end of the live broadcast of the up coming Pay Per View; No Surrender.

The idea was simple; TNA would continue to runs a weekly show off Impact every Thursday. Alongside this though Xplosion would become a weekly broadcasted show on a Saturday, with a direct focus on exhibiting the X-Division and TNA Knockouts. Effectively Xplosion would take on the role of a Sunday Night Heat show, although with eventual plans of one day bringing Xplosion up to the playing fields of a second brand. Workers can expect themselves to find work on both shows, although workers involved in headline storylines are unlikely to actually compete on the Saturday show.

It was also made known that a number of changes would occur to the TNA roster over the next few months, meaning both arrivals and departures.

Looks pretty solid. The colors and centering are pretty distracted, but hopefully the shows are solid. Please say you have at least a month pre-written. Don't stop this after a couple months; go AT LEAST a year, then you can call it quits.

Impact Preview
Thursday 24th September
Orlando, Florida
The Impact! Zone

No Surrender was a Pay Per View, that the hardcore fan of TNA would have watched with great delight as the beloved AJ Styles went on to take on the likes of Matt Morgan, and Sting to finally regain the TNA World Heavyweight Title and remove it from Kurt Angle and the Mafia's hand at the same time. Tensions will be high come this Thursday, and AJ is expected to let his feelings be heard after becoming the World Champion for the 4th time in his career.

No doubt the Mafia will be fuming, after Angle and Nash both lost title belts but also Booker T and Steiner got a run for a money from their suppose allies the World Elite, which saw Magnus and Williams take on two other team as well to win the Lethal Lockdown match. With Samoa Joe the only member of the Mafia coming off a big win, no doubt someone is going to feel the wrath of the Mafia tonight.

Dr. Stevie has made himself known since No Surrender that the $50,000 bounty on Abyss still stands if anyone is able to beat him and literally take him into custody. With such a high reward, the expectation is some member of the roster will step forward in attempt to claim such a reward.

The only confirmed match for this week show is that Team 3D will take on the British Invasion (Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus) for the IWGP Tag Team Championships. It is also rumored that current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi will be appearing at the show, although it is unknown whether it will be as guest or actual competitors.

Tune in on Thursday live on Spike TV!
