- TNA plans to tape another edition of "Global iMPACT" during their UK tour in June, according to a story posted on the UK Sun website. "The venues are almost all sold out, but after talent, travel, and production costs we'll be lucky to break even," a TNA source is quoted as saying in the story. "But these shows aren't about making money. They're about rewarding our loyal fans in the UK and creating new viewers for our show on Bravo (UK television)."

TNA's first Global iMPACT special back in January was one of the best hours of TV the company has ever shown, ratings wise. Kurt Angle vs. Yuji Nagata was the main event of that show. No word yet on what TNA has planned for the next special, but we'll keep you updated.

Hopefully it will feature some UK wrestlers then? Can't think of any who would be up to TNA standard though?

Key statement right there folks. Its not about making money? Well thats good cause so far TNA has been making very little if any at all. Sadly there more obsessed with Ratings (something that WCW was too once which ultimately became there downfall). Ratings don't make you money. I know you got to spend money to make money, but TNA has been doing a crap load of spending for 5 years and still isn't seeing any results. (or very little) Its kinda sad really. Something tells me too this Global Impact won't have the same result rating wise or appeal as the last one either.

It's good that they aren't interested in making money and are focusing on a growing fan base internationally. For once I see intelligence in their direction, this will gain a lot of new viewers from the UK and that will help TNA in making a solid global fan base which becomes very important when the organization is growing rapidly. TNA is doing something good by going international and this will help them in the future.

I'm a uk fan and I think it's a great idea to build more fans here. TNA is very appealing, not least because it is on a more accessible channel than WWE. I can't watch WWE, I would have to pay like extra £10 on my bill to get the channel it's on, whereas Bravo and Bravo2 are accessible to anybody on small tv packages and even freeview.

And I wanted tickets, but by the time I went to buy mine they'd sold out.

TNA will make a profit some day, even WCW started out losing money, just let them fix things up, it takes time to build the company up, you don't go from 1.3 ratings to 4.0 in one night.
