TNA President Dixie Carter announced that the company's first-ever show at The Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on January 30, 2014, will be broadcast live. Carter discussed the importance of the taping to STV.TV in Glasgow.

"It's historical for a number of reasons. One, it's the first time that we've ever broadcast live out of the United States - outside the country and it's the first time in this big beautiful building that you see behind me that we're really excited for," Carter said. "But also Challenge TV will be broadcasting the show live from Scotland and that will be the first time they've not been delayed for several days. It will be the first time that everyone in the UK will get to see Impact wrestling live."

TNA also posted this announcement on their official UK Facebook page:

"Dixie Carter has just announced that TNA IMPACT WRESTLING will be broadcast LIVE from Glasgow on Thursday January 30.
"This will be TNA's first ever live show on Challenge TV in the UK and the first ever TV taping in the great country of Scotland by any international wrestling company."

The episode won't air in the U.S., as the show will be starting at 7:00 pm in Scotland, which is 2:00 pm ET, so it will be on a five-to-six hour delay in the U.S.

Also, rumor has it that TNA is interested in signing 19-year-old Scottish wrestler Noam Dar.

Dar is highly regarded as one of the brightest young stars in British wrestling today. Most notably, Dar won rave reviews for his performance against AJ Styles in the main event of a Pro Wrestling Elite show last year in Scotland. According to an article by The Glaswegian, Styles put over Dar as a breakout star likely to be signed by a major American wrestling company within the next five years.

Dar has re-tweeted multiple fan tweets expressing support for the possibility of being signed by TNA. This also comes on the heels of Dixie Carter announcing a historic Live TV taping at the new Hydro arena in Glasgow for next year.
