Several people within Ring of Honor and TNA are said to be dumbfounded as to why the official WWE website is including news on their promotions. No one is complaining about the free promotion, but everyone is saying that it is definitely a weird move by WWE.

Haha, I would be very confused too. I guess WWE is so big that it doesnt matter if they advertise for rival promotions...my question is, could WWE be doing this on puropose? I remember hearing on the Mcmahon DVD that Vince always does better when he is in a ratings war, so maybe he wants ROH and TNA to get big so he can have some big competition like he used to have with WCW

THats what I said earlier. They are doing it because either a) they don't consider them a threat, or b) they realize the need for stronger compition and therefore figure if it can create even a boost in either companies popularity that they may indeed get a real ratings war going again and make for better TV on WWE, TNA & ROH.

I think option B is probably the reason. Growth throughout the entire wrestling industry can only be good for the WWE.

I'm gonna go with B....simply because it'll work out for Vince in the long run and make the product better.......plus it would be better for us also

Or maybe its... D!

WWE is tired of people going to the wrestling news sites to look get their fix on news of other companies. By WWE doing this, they know get more hits to their own site while taking away hits from the other wrestling sites.

Basically, WWE.com becomes THE place for wrestling news. Except they don't post spoilers or possible spoilers.

whats really bothering me is that the source is WZ.....WTF? doesn't this break kayfabe, spoil smackdown and pretty much fucks up wrestling?

if it wasn't for news sites it'd probably be way more easier to "suspend my disbelief".....
