3/21 Booker T's PWA March Mayhem results

Pro Wrestling Alliance held their 3rd show of the year entitled ''March Mayhem'' at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, TX.

Attendance was around 500

Results:

Ring Announcer Adrian announces Johnny Bravo (Local Radio Host) as the special guest Ring Announcer for the night.

1st Match) Jared Steele def. Franco Valentino
Ok match, both wrestlers dominated each other. Jared threw Franco to the outside. As Franco stood in the apron Jared came and put Franco between the ropes and did the swinging neckbreaker. Jared went for the cover but only got a 2 count, Franco then got the upperhand as he threw forehands shots to Jared. I do not remember the finish (Sorry) but Jared picked up the win.

2nd Match) Gustavo Mendoza w/ Rubio def. Steve Williams in a PWA Qualifying Tournament Match.
The match started as Gustavo and Steve locked up, Gustavo threw Steve to the bottom rope. Gustavo was distracting the ref as Rubio was chocking Steve on the bottom rope. Gustavo & Steve did some sloppy dropkicks. Some botch moves but not that much as last time. Finish came when Gustavo held Steve tights to cheat his win.

3rd Match) ''DOG'' w/ Ms. Rosa Salvage def. Sypro??? in a ''Dog Rules Match''
For you'll unfamiliar with ''DOG'' he is doing the bounty hunter gimmick & Rosa is his ''wife, partner in crime''. The mean of ''Dog Rules'' was that Dog could have use any weapon Rosa had & that Rosa could interfiered during the match without getting DQ. Match starts with a lock up, Spyro irish whips DOG. ''DOG'' then those the crusifiex pin but failed. Midway through the match Rosa and Dog were double teaming up Spyro at ringside. DOG throws Spyro back to the ring, Rosa then gives DOG a steel chair. DOG goes to the ring and was attempting to hit Spyro with the chair, but Spyro dodge and gave DOG a superkick. Spyro went for the cover but Rosa grabbed the referee legs and pulled him to ringside. Spyro was arguing with Rosa and DOG comes from behind and hits Steve with the steel chair. Rosa then gets in the ring and starts grabbing her high heel shoe and smacked Spyro in the face, 2 security came and told DOG & Rosa to go to the back. Everybody thought this match ended in a No Contest but Adrian announced that DOG was the winner.

4th Match) Gabe Hollier, Jamie Noble & Jimmy Wang Yang def. Kryll in a 6-Person Tag Team Match
Jimmy & Jamie were way over the crowd, one of the best matches of the night,. Throughout the match KRyll tried everything they canto double team their opponents. Finish came when Gabe pinned ''Creet''. After the match Lady Poison brought out Gabe's missing brother ''Jason'' (He is being missing for 2 months), the audience kept on telling Gabe to go rescue his brother, so Gabe went running backstage. Meanwhile back in the ring Jimmy & Jamie didn't know what to do so they celebrated their win with the audience.

There was a 10 minute Intermission, this time no WWE Diva appeared during the Intermission. Adrian did the prize lottery.

5th Match) Neico def. Brett Idol via submission
This was the final chapter between Neico vs Brett fued, this was a ''No Time Limit'' meaning that there was unlimited time. Best Match of the night with Brett almost dominating Neico, finish came when Neico applied ''STFU'' to Brett and Brett tapped out. After the match as Brett went backstage the audience started chanting ''You Tap Out''.

6th Match) Sicodelico Jr. def. Jaykus Plisskin

MAIN EVENT) King Booker w/ Queen Sharmell def. Hardcore Holly.

Overall this was one of the best PWA shows, way better than last months show, I am guessing the only reason why there was alot of people is because mainly people come to see King Booker wrestle but at the same time they come to see the PWA students performed.

Cheers Of The Night:
1st) King Booker
2nd) Jimmy Wang Yang
3rd) Neico

Heat Of The NIght:
1st) Hardcore Holly
2nd) Ms. Rosa Salvage
3rd) Brett Idol

Best Match: Jimmy Wang Yang, Jamie Noble & Gabe Hollier vs Kryll

Worst Match: Gustavo Mendoza w/ Rubio vs Steve Williams

- The decision not to re-sign Tommy Dreamer to a new contract surprised a lot of people within TNA. At one point, Dreamer apparently had a decent amount of office power and had been talked about as someone who could work as an agent or help with creative.

- Right now there are a lot of creative issues within TNA. The Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff contingent is openly complaining about the writing of Vince Russo. It's said that Jeff Jarrett is also frustrated with Russo, after years of defending his work. The feeling is that Russo is pretty much locked in place because Dixie Carter feels a loyalty to him.

- TNA is going with the idea right now to elevate Gunner, Crimson and Robert Roode to top spots in the company.
Gunner throws me off as someone they are trying to push into a top spot. Didn't strike me as the direction they wanted to go with him.

Gunner does indeed seem the odd one out, but I wouldn't have any problem at all seeing Crimson & Roode being given main event pushes.

Cannot wait to see what happens with the supposed push of Robert Roode. The man is fantastic and I hope he finally gets what is coming to him (That being a solid main event spot and a World Championship.)
