Interesting way to present it, by crashing another promotion. Sounds like a fun idea since it's only for one night.

Seems like TNA (now Jarrett is back with more power) is now making connections with other companies: HOH, W-1, AAA, and even OVW despite them not being their developmental anymore.

Not a bad idea. I think it's good to have strong connections to create stronger fanbases in certain areas I suppose.

Just realized this will be TNA's first ever televised event from NY area. :obama:

They had house shows before, but holy shit this is awesome.

I'm all for cross promotion, but I don't see a reason to care for Roode vs Storm. couldn't they find a younger or more relevant guy for Roode to face?

Old School stipulations? Better becareful what they do then. Don't wanna fuck up one of your talents trying to do these events. It still sounds like a fun little show though I suppose.

Since when is being 35 (Storm) considered old? I agree though it could've been lets say Aries or Joe.

I was convinced it was billed as Roode vs Lance storm in some sort of promotion vs promotion match. Much more okay with Roode vs Storm but a fresher match up would still be preferred. I'd be more okay with Roode vs Storm if it led to something (re-igniting their rivalry) but with Roode being in the middle of the Angle program I don't see them doing that.

Lance Storm haha.... Reigniting rivalry? No, because One Night Onlys have no storylines around them (or barely).

Bully Ray joined Busted Open Radio to promote the "One Night Only: Old School" event on December 30th in Poughkeepsie, New York.

On what to expect from his match with Tommy Dreamer at Old School:
"Let’s put it this way. You’re not gonna want to miss the upcoming weeks of what goes on with me, with TNA, with House of Hardcore, with [Tommy] Dreamer. You’re definitely not gonna want to miss out on December 30th, because the name of the pay-per-view is Old School and let me guarantee you one thing – it’s gonna be as old school as old school gets. And I think you guys know what I’m talking about."

On cross-promoting with House of Hardcore:
"You gotta give TNA credit. Obviously, you gotta give me more credit, to think outside the box and do something with House of Hardcore like we're doing. Everybody wins .... TNA wins, House of Hardcore wins, but most importantly, the fans win. And they're gonna get one hell of a show up there in Poughkeepsie on December 30th. For the first time in a very, very long time, I’m excited about doing something totally different and that’s what this is gonna be. Remember, I can make you believe anything I want you to believe."

On TNA becoming more edgy:
"You use the word 'edgy.' It’s a word that I've used before, and it’s a word that I think TNA is gonna start using a lot more too. I think the wrestling world is ready for a more edgy product, a more in-your-face product, a product that’s willing to think outside the box and a product that’s willing to do different things. I think this is the first step, and I think people are gonna be really excited and really pleased to see what we’re doing."
