TNA is no longer allowing their contracted talents to appear on DVD’s of independent wrestling events sold by those promotions. Since 2004, TNA has allowed talents to appear on DVD’s as long as they were being sold directly by the promotion and not by a third-party like Best Buy or Walmart.

Because of this new rule, Chavo Guerrero has been pulled from the October 6th NSPW event in Montreal.

This is just dumb decision I reckon and does not sound good for low-carders who collect paychecks in PWG or any other company. Joey Ryan for example. What makes me question his contract now.

Exactly. WWE can do this since they have a bigger organization with lower card talent earning paycheck from house shows and live show tours as well as developmental. They don't need the extra money from indie DVD's. lower card talent in TNA don't have that financial security

Pretty dumb rule.
They could easily garner more fans to the wrestler which will make them want to watch Impact Wrestling!
