-Bobby Roode comes out and brags about his victory over RVD at Sacrifice. Because he is going to be the longest World Champion in TNA history he wants a celebration party. He calls out Hogan to confirm. Hogan declines it then later announces that at next week's Open Fight Night, the World Title will be defended. There will be a series of matches (Bully Ray vs RVD, Anderson vs Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle and a Battle Royal) with the winners facing off next week in a Fatal 4-Way. The winner of that match will face Roode later in the night for the World Heavyweight Title.

-In the first match, Bully Ray defeated Rob Van Dam to advance to next week's 4-Way.

-AJ Styles won a 10-Man Battle Royal (also included Austin Aries, Robbie E and Robbie T, Devon, Garett Bischoff, Crimson, Magnus, Eric Young and Gunner). After the match, Hogan congratulated AJ.

AJ stood in the ring to explain the Dixie Carter scandal. Before he could thoroughly explain it, Daniels and Kazarian came out interrupting him. Daniels and Kazarian then show a video of AJ on their IPAD of of Dixie Carter and AJ Styles at a hotel.

They end up going into a hotel room together. Daniels and Kazarian trash talk AJ. AJ goes after the tag champions but eventually leaves the ring.

-Gail Kim defeated Velvet Sky and Brooke Tessmacher when she stole a pin from Velvet Sky to retain the Knockouts Title.

-Jeff Hardy defeated Mr. Anderson to advance to next week's 4-Way.

-Kurt Angle defeated Samoa Joe to advance to the 4-Way by reversing the Musclebuster into a rollup. Bobby Roode (who was on commentary) had a few words with Angle after the match. Eventually Hardy came to ringside followed by Bully Ray and AJ Styles on the stage. Roode had a staredown with his four potential challengers.

Where is the tv title match? Hogan a month ago said that the tv title would be defended on Impact every week since it is the television title, they gave up on that fast which is a shame since the concept is fantastic they simply need a new champion.

Not too keen on them building up to a World title match on Impact a week or two before Slammiversary which is one of TNA's biggest PPVs of the year. Shouldn't the big World title match happen on PPV so that you can charge people to watch it?

Not a fan of the AJ storyline.

Very happy that Daniels and Kaz are tag team champions but they need to get away from that dumb storyline, get them feuding with MCMGs.

Don't mind the look, least it has a purpose with finding out the 4 guys who will face off next week for a chance at the title.

Also, the TV title was featured in the dark match against none other than Mike Knox.

Roode has to be top 2 mic workers in TNA ring now. Bully being 1 obviously. Roodes demands :lmao. The opening promo wasn't bad and Hogan didn't piss me off that much.

Bully Ray vs RVD was fun i really enjoyed Bully targeting the injured knee of RVD with RVD is selling the hell out of it, but I wonder how much "selling" is going on here cause he took a hell of a beating at the PPV ladder match. I also liked how the knee was the downfall of RVD as he tried a heel kick, but landed awkwardly on his knee. This allowed Bully to take control and toss up RVD for a solo 3D. Good psychology.

Bully's promo backstage promo :lmao

I don't give a fuck about King Mo so i skipped the 5-7 minute video package. Gotta love the knockouts backstage promos cause they all flirt with eachother.

Wild Card Battle Royal was okay, but some of it didn't make sense and it felt like the world title was a after thought during the match. Here's some of th reasons So, you have Crimson, who is undefeated, struggling to fight ODB and ends up getting eliminated by ODB AND Eric Young. Madison shows up and watches the match. Apparently, the guy she has her eye on is possibly in the ring. So, your choices would be AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Robbie E, Robbie T, Devon, Garett Bischoff, and Gunner. I'm hoping it one of the Robbie's. but the best thing of the match was the 2-3 minute of Aries/AJ that we got. Really need a feud between these two.

After the match, AJ cuts a promo. He talks about going after Bobby, but you aren't interested in this. You want to hear about the stuff involving Dixie Carter. He says things aren't always as they seem. Did you tell you wife that, AJ? Christopher Daniels and Kaz interrupt. Kaz wants to know the reasoning behind these allegations, while Daniels wants to know, but seems to be having fun at AJ's expense. This week, Daniels and Kaz show a video of AJ and Dixie walking into a hotel room together. Why didn't they post this on the titantron. Did TNA want to show off their IPad? Then again, I'm impressed that they were able to afford one. Once AJ sees the video, he leaves without saying anything. :lmao @ this

lol @ angle provoking joe backstage.

Mr. Anderson/Jeff Hardy was awful There are times where it look good, but there are also times where it starts to look sloppy. Maybe the chemistry between the two is off

Gail Kim vs Brooke Tessmacher vs Velvet Sky for the knockouts title was clear TNA isn't sure what to do with the KO title. They want Gail to be the champion, but they aren't sure who should be the #1 Contender. It seems they want BOTH Tessmacher and Velvet. Either that, or TNA really wants to grab hold of their assets.

Samoa Joe/Kurt Angle was a pretty good match and made me want to watch their 06/07/08 matches again. THE FINISH IS FUCKING AWFUL

I'm not going to lie the finish really sucked but I enjoyed Joe-Angle. It looked a bit slow but they are getting older and it also looked like Joe wasn't interested yet he still works better than most of the roster. The new mohawk is a pretty sick look. What I don't get is how quiet Angle's face turn was and if Joe is still heel. Still a pretty fun match that made me remember the good ol days. It was a good episode and it was my first full one for a while.

Hardy vs Anderson was cringe worthy though. Jeff Hardy isn't great to begin with but when you put him with a waste of space in Anderson, it will be bad. Aires needs to get pushed over both these guys, he got one of the loudest pops of the night.

The battle royal was pretty awkward like you said Fab. Crimson is undefeated but gets eliminated in 20 seconds? Just another case of who booked this crap. Gunner in the top 2 really caught me off guard, I'm not much of a fan. Garrett Bischoff punches like a woman, now I know why he gets ripped on so bad. I try to avoid watching him especially after seeing him face Gunner once but it was just bad.

With the shows going live, it has some promise going forward. I hope they use Joe more (trying to hide the mark in me). This Styles storyline is pretty hopeless as well.

I think Devon didn't defend the TV title because he was in the Battle Royal. I could see that being a reason Hogan would give a face a day off. Whatever, Devon has had some terrible TV matches lately. He hit a huge shoulder block that was the best one I've seen out of him in a while.

The finish to the Battle Royal was very well done I thought, though. Best outing by Garrett yet but that just says he stood around and hit people. Great mentality for a Battle Royal. The guy is going to be legendary. At least Styles winning this makes it look somewhat important but clearly he's in a different realm right now.

I also enjoyed the main event a fair bit but as Fab pointed it out... The finish was awful. I didn't mind Anderson/Hardy too much, yeah it was sloppy but I expected that going in. I thought the match started better than there PPV match and the finish of course was much better.
