- The Wrestling Observer reports that one of the reasons ‘some women’ have quit TNA Wrestling in the past year stems from the belief that Bruce Prichard, Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations, is not in favor of women’s wrestling. This would also explain why the Knockouts division is not as given as much prominence as in the past, with only a few talents being highlighted.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky reportedly left the promotion on their own accord and the roles of Mickie James, Rosita, Sarita and Winter were greatly curtailed after Prichard came into power last October.

Can understand it to an extent but there ARE fans of women's wrestling, and the Divas' never meant less. (Now that they have an actual storyline, it's clearly too little too late and nobody gives a damn.) This is a way TNA can separate itself, and the KO's still have a good enough reputation so the division isn't beyond repair.

Also, Wrestling Observer, Meltzer sucks. At least this is of the "stating the obvious" variety instead of "making shit up".

it seems the womens division is dying out. wonder if it will get to the point where there's no women employed at all

There will also been female wrestlers employed it's just a matter if they will be used correctly. I mean you look at WWE they only basically use 2-3 divas regularly. Recently it's been Layla, Eve, Kaitlyn maybe some others will get to be seen for like 1 minute.

TNA at the moment is only using Tara and Miss Tessmacher, You will always have women wrestlers but they would always be misused.

A good way to get all Divas or Knockouts on airtime and use them all would be to create a heel knockouts stable, then they would all be used. :boss1:

I've heard this from ladies who were brought in for tryouts and he isn't the only person in chagrge in the company who feels this way, The one person who could say something, sadly, won't say anything :(

That sucks, women wrestling is very interesting, I do enjoy watching the females wrestle, and for a company that has two championships for women, they have an advantage already to make their women's division much more better then WWE's Diva division. I hope they get someone to repair this division before it becomes as rotten as WWE's Diva division.

This is just another Meltzer's hear-lolz-say shit, so I'm not caring about this 1 perchent. Plus, Dixie Carter is the biggest Knockouts mark out there, so I'm not afraid for them.
