TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Sting (c) vs. Kurt Angle

Sting won the title on Impact Wrestling a couple of weeks ago by defeating Mr Anderson. Kurt Angle has a title shot from previously beating Jeff Jarrett in a number one contenders match on PPV. It is the battle of the veterans for the main title in TNA.

Who do you think will win? What do you think about these two facing off for the TNA World title?

The match itself should be decent, but I suspect knowing TNA they will have a lot of interfearence, and a screwy finish.

The fact that they have booked these two again seems to suggest that they have run out of headliners or ideas or both.

I think either Angle will get the belt or they might keep it on Sting for a bit longer, but I see Kurt getting the title sooner rather than later, as it is about his time.

If it is kept as a clean match then it should be a good mainevent but as you said TNA like to book extras like run-ins to top matches. It is for the top title so it should be a clean finish as there is no storyline where it would make sense for a dusty finish.

I don't think they have run out of headliners, they just don't have faith in the upper midcarders like Morgan, Joe, Anderson, Pope and don't push newer stars hard enough.

I agree that Angle will be champion in the near future but I can't see Sting dropping the title so soon after winning it from Anderson. Maybe at Bound For Glory Angle will win the title.

Well you kind of just said the same thing as me Troy, because if they have not prepared anyone to fill those main event spots then in effect they don't have any fresh headliners.

You may have a point saying there is no reason for them to book a dodgy finish, but this is TNA we are talking about here.

It's TNA, expect a run-in from Immortal to screw over Sting and make Angle the newest member. Because swerves are what their booking squad boner over.

It would be terrible if they exchanged the title holder again so soon, It was unneeded 2 weeks ago on impact and i believe Anderson should still be champion facing Angle. With Sting as the tweener guy who interferes and costs Anderson the title with his mind games and his hate of immortal. Well thats my booking insight, But yeah Sting should take this one whatever the circumstances may be.

I just think weather it is a good thing or not Kurt in TNA's eyes is due another title reign, and the fact they only put the title on Sting two or three weeks back will not matter a jot to them as they do like to play hot with this title. Sting is a solid pair of hands, but also is a guy who doesn't really mind putting people over, I am going for a title change, if not a DQ finish and Angle to get it next time.
