TNA fixing Samoa Joe?

On this past Thursday night's edition of iMPACT! there was a backstage segment where Samoa Joe apologized to AJ Styles for acting like a dick. I immediately thought, "wow, maybe TNA realized that Joe's been acting like a prick the past few weeks and he's a babyface so they're fixing their mistake". Do you think this is true? Is the TNA creative team trying to patch up a mistake they made while trying to push this new Samoa Joe? Or is this just a plot to make Joe look like he's trying to get his friendship with AJ back only to turn on him a few weeks down the road?

Imo, TNA realized that they want to push Joe as a face and for that to be successful he can't come off as an asshole.

Joe's main problem is more that he does crazy things. Most TNA and WWE babyfaces do asshole things. The fact that he's lost his knife in recent weeks was a bigger step. Joe's done some pretty good things and making the best of the shit he's had to work with lately and seemed somewhat passable.

As far as the thing with AJ. I doubt it'll amount to much. I just hope this doesn't make AJ look stupid like TNA has a tendency of doing. Joe will be fine in all likelihood.

He's injured if I'm not mistaken? Rumors say it might be an older injury than what Joe Tweeted. Chances are, they're trying to get AJ into the stuff so that they have a current wrestler on the roster in the storyline in Joe's place until he's better.

BTW, I loved his threat towards MEM, telling Kurt he was gonna die... if it's Taz "leading", we can almost be assured they'll play into their "storied history".

^^^ His injury just occured within the past couple days if I'm not mistaken. All the iMPACTS leading up to the ppv were taped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of last week. So he wasn't injured when he did that promo, so I don't think that's the reason.

What I think happened was, his mentor saw how out of control he was gettting and got him to tone down and fix some things he messed up. Starting with AJ and Daniels, as he may need them in the future.

Joe being an asshole to Styles and Daniels only makes him a sort of tweener and TNA wants him to be a full forced face against MEM
