TNA’s creative process is said to be the exact opposite of WWE’s right now. WWE’s creative plans have often been very last-minute dating back to before WrestleMania 25, whereas TNA has plans locked-in for after Bound For Glory this fall.

TNA management is said to be very high on long-term plans that look at the big picture rather than month-to-month storylines. An example of this is the Kurt Angle/Jeff Jarrett feud seamlessly transitioning into the Foley/Jarrett feud by Kurt’s words creating in-fighting among the TNA frontline leaders Jarrett and Foley.

The feeling within TNA right now is that Sting’s character is the freshest that it has been since joining the company, and he was left off this week’s two iMPACT tapings in an effort to keep it that way and protect the character from over saturation.

And these people know WWE's creative process is last minute how? I'm not bashing TNA, from everything I have heard, TNA is pretty good lately, but c'mon. This is clearly just specultion. How do they know whether or not WWE books long term>?

Just look at the Orton/Triple H feud, man. At one time it was based around Orton's IED, but then he later come out and said that his IED was fake. Why? Because they were changing the story of the feud at the last minute.

I'll give Mikeraw credit, I understand that he's questioning how the internet reporters actually know all this inside stuff. But in this particular situation I think they're right and you can tell just by watching the TV show

Meh, maybe, still, what I don't get is why not credit TNA with doing somethign well, and leave it at that, instead of trying to praise one, and bash the other. I dont' mean you, Chess, I mean the 'news sites'. They do it both ways though. They'll praise WWE on something, and compare it to something TNA is doing,t o try to make TNA look bad, and then they do it the other way around as well. But maybe it's just my frustration at those sites in general that makes me bitter towards them, lol.

Actually, since the very beginning it was teased that Randy Orton was lying about IED. What he did was just accept he has lying. Hell, may I remind you HHH claim Orton knew what he was doing all the time.

Using HHH vs Orton as an example of short term booking was horrible man. If you want an example, use Edge vs Cena vs Show, and even that is arguable.

As for long term booking actually being good, well, it can be, but they run the risk of having a long shit of things planned and somewhere along the line, they just start sucking, but since they have it planned, they just continue with it.

A good example of the WWE's short term booking is Jericho vs Steamboat for Backlash imo.

Having Lashely come out and stare at the ring is good booking? Having 3 tag team titles (btw the over saturation of titles is NOT any different than the WWE) is good booking? Danny Bonoduche is good booking?

Danny Bonoduche is good booking?

In TNA's defense, at least someone was smart enough to put on this on the pre-show and not on the actual PPV.
