Following our report last week that TNA was behind on paying wrestlers, checks have been issued to the talent roster. It's part of a recurring pattern, according to one source.
The issue centers on TNA's pay system. It's up to the TNA office to collect a list of which talents worked which shows, get the list signed off on, and submit payroll to their parent company, Panda Energy. Panda then issues checks to talent.
However, a pattern has recently developed where TNA gets behind on submitting pay to Panda, affecting the timeliness of pay-outs.
"This has happened in the same manner about four other times in the past few years," said one source.
The delay has been up to eight weeks, says the source.
