PWI reports that the big change that Dixie Carter is tweeting on her Twitter account is not something related to Slammiversary but something that is much bigger for the company as a whole.

There has been a lot of talk that the company has reached out to people to enhance and/or overhaul the creative end of the company and we can confirm that the two most prominent names discussed internally are Kevin Sullivan and Paul Heyman.

As we have mentioned previously on the site, Heyman has been on the TNA radar for a while now. The story we have gotten is that for Heyman to come in, he would need complete control of the creatiove process (or at least as much as a booker can have in 2010). We can also confirm that they have spoken with Sullivan as well.

We will have more on this story as soon as we can confirm it.
This WILL change TNA forever, and actually make it good. Lets hope its true

^^^ Don't be daft why would Shane leave as heir apparent to a billion dollar company just to be in charge of creative in TNA?

I don't care who they bring in, they need to get rid of Russo. There's still Russo written all over the show and it sucks!

Well, FUCK. I;m glad because Heyman is the only proper choice for TNA. But I'm absolutely pissed because TWICE I've had to change my BTB because of what's been happening in TNA and this totally compromises everything and ruins the fuck out of it. Flair turning on AJ, I can live with that, Dudleys turning on each other...might happen, but Paul fuckin Heyman coming to TNA, someone is hacking my shit. Seriously, I think I might post my unfinished shit just to see if I'm prophetic...

If Paul Heyman was given full reigns of the booking company, then it would make a difference. If he was given full and final say over Hogan, Bischoff, and Russo then okay. But adding a diamond to a pile of shit does nothing for the shit, and only dirties the diamond.

Well now they have my attention on this big change. Being a fan of Shane, it'd be pretty cool if it were him. Heyman's alright too. I don't know what he can do behind the scenes, but he was a great on-air guy.

One thing that confuses me. People talk about TNA doing stuff from WCW that didn't work. Wasn't Heyman owner of a company that went bankrupt? So how is him being apart of creative so great when the last time he had control, his company folded?

If Paul Heyman was given full reigns of the booking company, then it would make a difference. If he was given full and final say over Hogan, Bischoff, and Russo then okay. But adding a diamond to a pile of shit does nothing for the shit, and only dirties the diamond.

Nice analogy.

^ His company folded for different reasons, part of why WCW folded was because the dumbasses that were in charge ran the company to the ground themselves and it was horribly mismanaged. Not to mention the on air product was atrocious, so the fans were turned off as well

Because Shane already left...

If TNA gets Heyman, I might start watching again.

ECW died for financial reasons. Heyman couldn't and didn't know how to handle the books. The guy is a booking genius though.

It has been well rumored and spoken that if something were to ever happen to Vince that Stephanie would most likely take over operation. It seemed to me that he left in January because he realized that. Just my opinion.

Even so, his parents would leave him a share of the company once they're dead. Why throw that away by going to TNA.

Shane has no hand in the WWE biz anymore. If anything, Hunter and Steph will get the boatload if Vince retires or passes.

Where the hell are people getting this idea Shane would end up in TNA? That is just absurd. He might not be working within the E, he's helping Linda's Senate run right now, it's not like he was banished and became an outcast in the McMahon clan. He's just enjoying his millions and millions and family life. When Vince finally croaks, he still might not want a piece of the business, but he will have his hands in the financial pie.

As for Heyman, Mizmasta said it best. His company went face up because he couldn't handle the books and the PPV company wasn't paying ECW what they owed him. Before their deaths, ECW was doing equal and sometimes better buyrates on Viewer's Choice (which became On Demand) and most other PPV providers than WCW. He was a booking genius and did the most with the least, not to mention he laid the foundation for the Attitude era years before Vince was doing anything remotely absurd. Plus, he can book talent to look better than any person in the history of the business. He took a useless Scotty Flamingo and turned him into Raven, the only guy to have an action figure with TNA, WCW, the WWE and ECW. He made people believe Tazz was this incredible worker, he made the Sandman famous. He made Shane Douglas famous. He CREATED RVD. And all those guys would get bigger and fatter contracts elsewhere because of Heyman's booking prowess. And his eye for talent is insane. He brought the cruiserweight style to the American forefront. He brought Eddy Guerrero,Dean Malenko, Rey and all the luchas, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit to American wrestling prominence. Without Heyman there is no WCW cruiserweights and there is NO X division in TNA. This man is possibly the most under rated person in wrestling in the last twenty years. He had countless ideas and talents stolen from him and he continued on and on with his little company that could. He in TNA, with all their resources could actually warrant a little fear from Vince and Co.There's a reason when he and Bisch were both employeed by Vince in 2002, Eric was made an ass out of and give zero creative control while Heyman was used as the man to get Lesnar over and he wrote the best WWE television since Austin and Rocky left, SD! from 2002 to mid 2003 with the awesomness of the SD! 6. TNA would be lucky to get this man.

I just read that this CHANGING TNA FOREVER thing is not Heyman, and has nothing to do with a new member to the company. The thing I've been reading is that they are going to introduce 3D to their shows. If so, yet another yawn for a ZOMG MAJOR CHANGE.
