TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Bobby Roode

This is TNA's chance to produce a "home-grown" maineventer. It would be nice to see a fresh face in the mainevent and it would be incredible if that new face was someone who wasn't a star in WWE or WCW or ECW. I have mentioned it numerous times before but Angle is not the guy that should be champion if he is going to continue to break the law. This is the perfect time to put the title on Roode and I really look forward to seeing if TNA go for the future with this match.

Who do you think will win?

I agree, and I have a funny feeling that Roode might win the title here, just because history says that the title just tend to change at BFG. So Roode winning is very possible, but the test then is weather TNA do anything with him as champion, and history says that he will become another Samoa Joe.

I really hope that he wins the title. TNA have kept hinting at it and he has been pushed like a champion on Impact so surely he will be given the title here. I hope that he doesn't become like Samoa Joe or Matt Morgan.

I think Roode will get the title as it would be pointless doing things such as the BFG series only for Angle to retain, however this is TNA were talking about and with Hogan reportadly signing a new contract it could depend on if they want to keep immortal going or not

I agree it wouldn't make sense to build Roode up through the BFG Series and on the Impacts after it only to have him lose the title shot. There is no point having Angle go over Roode, they should use Angle to put over Roode as a star.

I think that having Roode with the belt will also open up opurtunites for over matches such as Daniels v Roode, Morgan v Roode. Can start to focus on the up and comers

I would be over the moon if TNA did that. I want to see other guys get opportunities for the main title and it would be great if once Roode wins the title he defends it against some of the others like Morgan and Daniels.

Problem is Morgan is not good enough for the main events, and I think they missed the boat on Daniels, he is now in the twilight of his career, and maybe if he was going to compete for the big title it should have been a bit sooner. The issue is TNA's lack of new stars that could be credible world title contenders.

But this is their chance to do it, they have a new creative team so if they give the belt to a home grown wrestler than they can start to build them because of the new feuids it will produce
