It was a whole big controversy. If I remember right the main guy was arguing the phrase "in wrestling" didn't make sense for the data under it and like okay? The solution is then find a title that makes sense for that section, not remove the section on thousands of articles

The main thing that sucks is whoever was keeping all those up-to-date, including a lot of guys on the Indies and what not they never migrated anywhere else. A couple people went to the pro wrestling wiki, but it does not get updated frequently so most of those people just disappeared into the wind.

oh do not get me STARTED on the pro wrestling wiki. The staff there have decided that information that's formatted even slightly "incorrectly" is worse than nothing. I've never managed an edit that wasn't reverted and met with a harassing talk page message

I remember the first time I noticed it, I went there to find the name of a move for someone, I can’t even remember who now and it was gone. It had been a bit since I had to do that, so I questioned if it ever was even on there to begin with and have for years now lmao. Glad to at least know I’m not crazy, at least for this..

I might be off on the timeline but if I remember right I think this all happened during the short time I was writing results on WrestlingInc and I would literally have all the wrestlers wikis pulled up so I knew what they called their moves lol I was furious

I liked the move section on Wiki for e-fed purposes so I would know the correct name for the move. Now I just use wrestling move gifs blogspot for that.

Yeah in like 2011 or 2012 for maybe 3-4 months I did superstars and NXT bc they didn't have derailed results so I volunteered and then Raj asked me to do live Raw ones which I only did for like 2 or 3 weeks and one time he messaged me like "where are the results updates???" And I'm like bro bc it was a long segment and I post the updates when it goes to commercial so chill. And then I quit (well it was unpaid bc I was like 15 but still)
