TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) WRESTLING TO PROVIDE AUDITION OPPORTUNITY TO INDEPENDENT WRESTLERS

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling will host its first-ever talent audition for prospective wrestlers on Saturday, October 29 at noon in the “iMPACT Zoneâ€￾ at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Each participant will have the chance to showcase their talents, learn what TNA is looking for, and present any video footage and a resume to TNA Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor,

Prospective wrestlers must be 18 or older, in good health and must sign a release as well as present proper identification. The cost of the tryout is $250 in advance. To register for the event, visit www.shoptna.com

They added a fee to filter out the people who aren't really serious about it.

They know that if you're willing to pay for the tryout, then you're at least serious about a career in wrestling.

That's actually pretty smart. You know some skinny, 18 year old, obsessed with wrestling kid will go there and pay it to get a shot.

250 is still a ton to pay for a shot that has no guarantees whatsoever.

Like I said, the fee was high enough to filter out the people who aren't serious, but not too much to prevent serious candidates from applying.

If you're really serious about a career in wrestling, then you should be able to find a way to make $250.

Trust me, if they made the fee like $50, they're still going to get a bunch of half serious people there.
