That main event looks great! I'm not a big fan of necro butcher, but I am a fan of his matches with Joe. Too bad there's no way I'll see this.

ps. i guess it happened....if you went, how was that ME

Actually the main event was changed. Heres the results:

Alright, the scheduled main event was quite honestly an absolute indy fan's wet dream tag match. Necro Butcher & Chris Hero versus Samoa Joe & Eddie Kingston in a No DQ match. How does it get any better? You have the Kingston/Hero rivalry renewed with the rules thrown out the window, AND you get Joe and Necro on the opposite side of the ring which always equals insanity. Of course there's also Hero/Joe interactions (which was supposed to happen at the first show, but Hero didn't make it so it was Joe/Kingston), and Necro/Kingston exchanges. However, both Samoa Joe and Chris Hero didn't make it, which makes me think Hero now has the Briscoe Brothers gimmick, and makes me very upset. But, PWS makes it up almost perfect by replacing Joe with Low Ki, and announce that Necro's partner is unknown for the moment. Did I mention Necro Buthcher is the commissioner? Necro in glasses = ratings. Unfortunately, Reckless Youth/Tom Carter tore his shoulder muscle or something, so Credible/Youth 2/3 falls in canceled, which sucked majorly because their match at the first show was real good but too short. Credible comes out and cuts an awesome promo which has the crowd on their feet going INSANE at his intensity, and Necro tells him he can enter any match he wants tonight.

Alright, with that major show updates and changes, here are some results, thoughts, and ratings:

Alicia def. Talia Madison via pin w/ rope leverage to retain the WSU Women's Championship- Good women's match. Alicia is above average in the ring and Talia is hot with some basic skills. Overall it produced a good opener. **1/4

Crowbar def. Michael Sain via something I don't remember and don't care about- Ridiculously too long...if they weren't stalling for something, then they're just terrible. And yes, it's the same Crowbar from WCW. This was just bad, with botches galore and with Sain obviously being green and Crowbar not being good enough to carry him. I'll give it a bit of credit because Crowbar looked like he tried, but other than that, ew. *

Zombie def. Paul E Normous via TKO- Yes, Zombie from WWECW is a main guy in PWS, but he's sooo entertaining. Check the description for Crowbar/Sain, but this time the rating is for Zombie's entertainment value and the crowd going wild for him. *

Danny Demanto def. Kenny Omega- Kenny was real impressive, and Demanto for the first time ever was looking good (aside from, as per usual with him, one major botch). Demanto usually sucks, but he used a lot of smarts in this match and sold well for Kenny, who was playing the heel and quite effectively I may add. I can't remember much from the match aside from Demanto botching a delayed vertical suplex after asking the fans to count along (he got to a three count and couldn't hold on so they both, like, fell foward, lol). After the match, Omega attacks Danny with a chair, but Necro makes the save. Why Necro, why?! Oh well, seeing Necro more rules. **1/2

Steve Mack def. Abyss via DQ after reverse decision- Real good and fun brawl around the place with two large men, both in their best style of match. I couldn't see much when they brawled on the outside, but inside both men were doing really good and taking it to each other. Abyss hit the ref by accident, but then pinned Mack with the Blackhole Slam. Necro came out and had it out for Abyss though, changing the decision of the match due to Abyss hitting the ref, so Mack wins! Necro then says Abyss has been ducking him for years, and he sees him doing all the hardcore stuff on TV, but he thinks he can't handle the Necro Butcher! So for the first time ever, at the next show, it's Necro Butcher vs Abyss in a Street Fight! Match and announcement both are good! ***

'Black Machismo' Jay Lethal def. The Genius- For the third time, yes, that's The Genius from WWF! This card is LOADED with names...no matter how old or irrelevant these days! By the way, Genius is accompanied by Chrissy Rivera. Seriously though, Genius was in pretty decent shape, and cut a promo saying he's a 52 year old man but he can still go, and this match proved it. He said that Savage is a brother to him and was told that he's sick and tired of Jay Lethal stealing his gimmick and his elbow. Lethal comes out and, of course in total Savage form, tells Genius that they're brothers from another mother. The match is mostly built around Lethal's antics while Genius trying to wrestle him and very sports-entertainmenty, but it's still good fun. tAt one point, Genius pulled out a MOONSAULT, but Lethal got the knees up! That alone started a 'Holy Shit' chant, and immediately made me love Genius. Lethal got tossed to the outside in front of me and my friends, so I was shouting 'Do it for Elizabeth!', and Lethal mumbled 'Yeeeeah, Elizabeth', which made me laugh. Then my friend shouted 'Machismo, he's like the Dragon in there', meaning Ricky Steamboat, and Lethal looked up saying 'That dude's definitely the Dragon!' while trying not to laugh. Then, Chrissy slapped Lethal and he muttered 'Sherri, was that you?'. All of that being said in a Savage voice made me laugh hyserically. Lethal ends it with a terrible looking elbow drop, as per usual, and the two men hug after the match. Great nostalgia and entertainment, with some decent wrestling. Points in all categories. ***

Sabu def. Trent Acid, Justin Credible, and Danny Doring via Arabian Facebuster- Originally Sabu/Acid, but Doring came out and cut a promo that ripped apart both men and the fans, which made Sabu attack. Acid and Doring team up on Sabu until Credible came out and entered himself into the match, making it a four way. Fun brawl overall. You would think Sabu, with his reputation, would half-ass it in front of 400 people and an indy paycheck, but you would be completely wrong. This dude went all out in typical Sabu fashion, and the crowd ate it up. He placed Acid on a table on the outside, and went to dive onto him, but his foot got caught up and he landed chin first on the table, making the crowd go into panic mode. However, he gets right back up, and dives AGAIN with a somersault legdrop this time, and it connects, but the table doesn't break! Sabu moves on like his body isn't killing him and wins the match with an Arabian Facebuster on Credible. Real short, but great action and awesome seeing Sabu live. **

Eddie Kingston & Low Ki def. Necro Butcher & Danny Demanto via Warrior's Way on Danny- Danny came out to save Necro, which made me literally go into a hissy fit because Demanto is a fat, worthless piece of shit that needs to stay out of the ring, despite having one good match tonight out of the twenty times I've seen him. Yeah, I respect him because he's a wrestler, but I hate him because he's terrible at it. Demanto gets beaten down for like 10 minutes while the ref holds Necro out of the ring...meaning they completely forgot the No DQ stip, which so many indys (ROH included, folks) do. And hell, Necro is the commissioner, he can add whatever he wants to the match! Finally, Necro just walks in and tells the ref to fuck off while he tosses Ki and Kingston out, leading to a big brawl around the building, which I followed the Kingston/Necro part. Kingston took two STIFF punches from Necro in a barfight, with Necro smiling in the most hysterical way ever. I love Necro. Ki pins Danny in the ring, and I tell Necro that he should have gone solo. From what I could see, it was pretty good. If Danny wasn't there, it would have been awesome. Seriously, Credible was so pumped up that night, are they telling me he couldn't come out as Necro's partner? Yeah, it makes sense because of what happened earlier, but Danny blows. ***1/4

The only problem PWS has isn't even really it's fault; it's the workers not showing up or not fufilling PWS' promises. For example, PWS promised fans could meet Sabu, Genius, and Crowbar before the event. Well, you could meet Crowbar, but Genius was nowhere to be found as was Sabu. Later on they forced Sabu to come out for 15 minutes, and I was lucky enough to be one of the 30 people to get his signature there. Instead, before and during the show they had Abyss, Credible, Zombie, Azrieal, Lethal, and someone else signging stuff. So, PWS is really trying to make things work and wants to produce some quality fun shows, and despite the problems they keep running in to, the shows are just what they wanted; fun.

This show won't be out for probably a month or so, but the first show (featuring Joe/Kingston II) is out now and for only $10, it's worth seeing the start of a promotion that's really trying to give the fans something good
