We've noted that Ryback vs. John Cena for the WWE Title, Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar in a steel cage and Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Title are set for WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Another likely title match for the pay-per-view will be two members of The Shield vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Tag Team Titles. This is likely where Team Hell No will drop the titles. Before the WrestleMania 29 undercard was re-done, there were plans for The Shield to capture the titles there.

Other matches likely for Extreme Rules are Nikki Bella vs. Kaitlyn for the Divas Title, Mark Henry vs. Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Big Show.

I think they should Freebird the tag titles with The Shield once they win it, but I wonder if they could also add a midcard title (IC Title, US Title) to the group and do the same with it. Like you have the single's title and tag titles, and at any given time, any of the three guys can defend the IC/US Title and any two out of three guys can defend the tag titles.

If WWE doesn't have them Freebird the tag titles then they are morons. And I would definitely love for them to Freebird a singles title (though I'd probably say like the WWE title, fantasy booking and all but it could make sense of why they attacked Cena on Raw and I don't honestly think it would be a bad booking decision, I could see it working out well even though it doesn't matter because WWE won't . . . but I digress). It goes back to my favorite thing about The Shield, how (unlike the Nexus) they really do come across as an individual unit without sacrificing any of their individuality (again, unlike Nexus [sorry, I'll stop bitching about that trainwreck]). They are perfect for doing something akin to that, and the idea of a stable freebirding a singles belt is a brilliant idea that I actually believe is a first time ever (correct me if I'm wrong, and I very well could be) and if it's not, it's still a rather unique and fresh angle to play off of.

And yes, this is essentially just a long-winded way of saying "This." I wanted to put a little more thought into than just simply saying I agree.
