Now I know a lot of threads must be made with this topic, but as it is after WM, I feel it is the right time, as WWE are paying more attention to different talent.

Basiaclly, as the title indicates, this thread will be about who will move up in the world of World Wrestling Entertainment. Could it be a familiar face? Or someone from developmental?

SmackDown- Who will move up on the SmackDown side of things? For the US Title, I am guessing that Matt Hardy will be getting it soon. So who could possibly be the man to step up and beat him? I really think that it is someone who people have forgotten about, but if given the oppurtunity, could move up and really take his spot. That man is Kenny. Kenny is out injured at the moment (I think), but if upon return he is put in a nice feud, he could definately elevate himself. I would like to see him win the US Title around Armageddon. Another man who is a possibility is Ron Killings, but it always depends on which brand he debuts with. Many people may be thinking Kozlov is someone who WWE sees a lot in, but I don't really see him doing too much for the rest of the year.

With the WWE Tag Team Championships being held by John Morrison and the Miz, this means that logically a face team has to take the titles. I would like to see Jesse and Festus take the titles, but only as transitional champions. The reason for this is that I see this as a huge year for Kurt Hawkins and Zach Ryder. They are in the dominant (and admittedly, only) faction, and are in a postion of power. It is time for WWE to pull trhe trigger on a psu hof these men, and have them suddenly destroy a team like Moore and Yang, then continue up to the WWE Tag Titles. These two could be a big team in furutre years, and I think the time is right to elevate them.

The World Heavyweight Championship, possibly the toughest to predict, with the Undertaker not going to lose to just anyone. I am hoping that the Undertaker holds this title to Survivor Series, as that would be enough time for WWE to push the man I want up to take the title right to the top. That man is MVP. MVP has it all. He has a unique look, he talks like a star, and he can perform like a star. The man is fully ready for a push, and has never being suspended, unlike many others. A title win over Taker would do his career wonders, and he could really be a great World Heavyweight Champion.

As for the others on the SmackDown brand who will get a push, but not towards a title, I am thinking a debuting Chris Harris, and maybe a returning Gregory Helms. Helms could comeback with a reasonable feud, as he has shown in the past with Matt Hardy. It really depends when Gregory comes back though.

ECW- The land of extreme is an interesting one. With Kane holding the belt, I don't see it going anywhere any time soon. The fact that my main choice for next champion isn't ready to challenge yet either doesn't help. My pick for next champion would be John Morrison, but he not only needs to drop the tag belts first, but also the Miz. Morrison has shown that he has what it takes to hold the ECW title, so I think he should definately be the one to hold it.

As far as others go, idk what WWE plans for Kofi Kingston. I really can't see too much room for him to grow on ECW, besides maybe a feud with Shelton Benjamin or Elijah Burke. Burke and Benjamin also need a purpose, and I don't see one for them on ECW.

Raw- The World Tag Team Championships are really irrelelvant at the moment, and I can't see anyone at all growing with them. Maybe if WWE were to hire the Naturals they could do something with these belts, but these put together teams are just frustrating me.

The Women's Championship is an interesting one, because with the small amount of women who can actually wrestle, it can onlyreally be traded between four women, and I disagree with one of them. Beth {Phoenix, Mickie James and Melina are really the only three who deserve to hold it. I don't see Mickie holding it for too long, and I see another Melina title reign coming up. I really hope that WWE doesn't bring back the fourth option and give her the title. That fourth option would be Candice. Look, Candice tries, but at the end of the day, she really isn't very good. She tries to do moves she can't and ultimately just hurts herself. I think WWE should let her train in developmental when she returns, then bring her back, and possibly have her feud with Phoeinx.

With Chris Jericho as IC Champion, there is only one man I can see coming along and taking it away, and that would be Mr Kennedy ....... Kennedy. WWE need someone who has heat with the fans to beat Jericho: anything else would be a real letdown. A Jericho Kennedy feud would be great, and could be a big payoff for both men at the end, as the crowd could really care about them afterwards. Besides Kennedy, maybe Carlito as a secondary option (only if Kennedy gets busted for roids again), only if they break him away from Marella. Carlito desreves to be a singles wrestler.

The WWE Championship is interesting. I really have no clue who will win at Backlash. It could be any of the four men. But eventually, no matter who wins, I see them all falling to the same man. CM Punk. Punk is Mr MITB, and is on the end of a huge push. He really should be the one to become the new face of the WWE. It could really benefit WWE's public image with Mr Straight Edge as champion of their flagship show.

The last man I will mention is an enigma for sure. Jeff Hardy. Now assuming Jeff doesn't get busted for drugs a third time (I would like to know the odds on that), what can WWE possibly do with Jeff. I think he will still be insanely over when he returns, but WWE will be cautious with him, knowing that he may go off at any time. A possible feud with Kennedy over the IC Title when Kennedy is doen with Jericho is one I would like to see. Other than that I really don't know. Jeff is just hard to plan for.

Thoughts?

I agree with everything you just said in your Smackdown and ECW comments but with Raw, Raws tag team division is crap.

but the womens division needs more good diva's. I would take Torrie Wilson and Victoria to fight for the title, Torrie has been in wrestling for a very long time and I think deserves a little womens title run and Victoria, well she is one of the best diva's in the business! they could make some good fueds.

For the ic title, yes Jericho and Kennedy would be good but they are both Main event status. Breaking up Santino and Carlito would be the right thing to do and then Have Carlito win the IC title to build him up, maybe move Elijah to Raw and fued Carlito for it. that would build them both up! could maybe have them beat JBL or someone good like him. you could even get Cody Rhodes up to that level if they made him really work for it.

The world title, I dont see Jeff Hardy coming back to the main event picture. I see CM Punk and Mr Kennedy being up here next and they will eventually win the WWE title.

Both of those divas are meant to be on SmackDown, and there is no real promise that Torrie Wilson will ever wrestle again. She was never a great wrestler anyway.

JBL doesn't have main event status, but Kennedy does? Have you watched Raw for the last few months?

^ Im not saying JBL isnt Main event status, well I didnt mean to if I did. Im just saying he could go down to put over younger guys for the ic title. and Torrie was never a good wrestler but she isnt terrible like Layla or anything lol.

You know, I actually prefer Gregory Helms or Elijah Burke to fued with Hardy over the US Title. There's no denying V1 will get it, just a matter of when, and I think that when will be J-Day.

As for the Tag Team Titles, I personally think Finlay & Hornswoggle should get them. Yeah, I know, Horny? Well, I think Finlay should get a Title, and he wont be getting a World or US anytime soon, so why not Tag Team Title with Horny? First Father/son due as tag champs I think, lol. Then, he they should lose 'em to The Shit...I mean Edge Heads at around Unforgiven, cause I want to see a Finlay/Edge fued from Summer Slam-Survivor Series, and Finlay & Horny losing to his boys would make sense.

World Title? Well, I personally think Kane, Big Show or Umaga should get the Title from 'Taker at Survivor Series. Have Bros. of Destruction continue to team, Kane loses the ECW Title, they lose a tag team match to the Shit...I mean Edge Heads, then Kane goes crazy and turns on his 'brother'. Or, have Umaga come to SD! and he and 'Taker will produce some excellent matches. As for Show, he could get the Title by starting another Big Man Fued vs. Taker. Either way, one of them men should win it at Survivor Series

RAW
IC Title....Well, Y2J should keep this Title 'til like Night of Champions or Summer Slam, which when he loses it to Mr. Kennedy, or JBL. Both men would be great as the Intercontinental Champion I think. Then Truth later down after one of them.

Tag Team Titles should go next to Cantino, which they will then lose 'em to Cryme Tyme at Night of Champions.

Womens titles.....sheesh, who cars. I actually think Michelle should jump to RAW and win it, or have this Title be tri branded.

WWE Title. Well, between who I want to get it, and who I think will get it is different. I think HHH gets it soon, then fueds with JBL a llittle, then loses the Title to Batista at the end of the year, maybe Rumble '09. then, the heel Batista will lose it to Cena at WM 24 in the main event. Yeah, I don't see CM Punk winning the title, but who knows. As for who I want. Well, I'd like HHH to get it at One Night Stand, then lose it to JBL at Unforgiven or no Mercy, maybe. After that, JBL keeps the Title, and then loses it the night after WM25, vs. the man he cheated to retain the night before, CM Punk.

ECW
ECW Title. Does it matter? Kane loses it to Elijah Burke soon, or Umanga if he doesn't win the World Title.
