A real quick one here. This is another one where it wouldnt let me add a boarder. I guess sometimes you get lucky, and others you dont.

The colors of the crowd "fans" ruin it in the bkg. I think you need to add some other colors than the pink/brown and blue thingy.

The text doesnt suit the theme imo.
The logo is so faint, try make it have more opacity and and maybe try to make it a bit smaller.
As for the main psd, i think you could add some gold brushing on top of him, this is by adding a new layer, with opacity of 15% set it to as burn, or duplicate and make the second layer as soft light. "Only brush on the player"

As for the border problem, make sure that something called preserve transparency not ticked/ clicked! so that you can visualize the border.
