Three more bouts have been added to May's UFC on FUEL TV 3 event, as Jorge Lopez vs. Amir Sadollah, Cody McKenzie vs. Aaron Riley and Brad Tavares vs. Dongi Yang have all been announced for the card.
UFC officials released the bookings late Saturday night.
Featuring a headliner between Dustin Poirier and Chan Sung Jung, UFC on FUEL TV 3 takes play May 15 at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. The event's main card airs live on FUEL TV, and Facebook is expected to stream the preliminary card.
Wanderlei Silva product Lopez (11-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) seeks his first octagon win after dropping a UFC Fight Night 25 decision to Justin Edwards. Lopez had been expected to face Sadollah (5-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at this past weekend's UFC 143. Sadollah was originally forced out of the event due to injury, allowing Matt Riddle in, and Lopez then followed suit.
McKenzie (12-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) may find himself in a must-win situation. Despite being a fan-favorite after his sting on "The Ultimate Fighter 12," McKenzie is currently mired in a two-fight skid. He now faces Riley (30-13-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC) a longtime veteran who is 3-3 in his third UFC stint.
Tavares (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) seeks to rebound from the first loss of his career, after falling short against Aaron Simpson at UFC 132. Tavares was supposed to face Tim Credeur at UFC 137 but was forced to withdraw due to injury. He now meets Yang (10-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) who has shown durability in his three UFC contests but has earned just one win.
Those are likely to be prelim fights for this show, the entire card so far is this:
