I heard Dana White said a match between Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva makes "absolutely no sense", but apparently Anderson Silva vs Bonnar (IN BRAZIL) does.



This awesome guy sums it all up. Nick Diaz liked the video above, that's how I found that.

UFC is sucking tons of dick in 2012. Awful match making and over exposure (too many damn cards) is killing it. The UFC on Fox card with Diaz/Bendo is the only event I care about for the rest of 2012.

Bonnar vs Silva makes Silva vs Diaz look like Chuck vs Randy III

I'll watch the vid when I get home, though I expect I know about what he will say.

He's basically saying the same as you. He says things like Nick Diaz is ranked as the #4 and SIlva is #1 and it makes no sense for them to fight, but Silva/Bonnar in Silva's home town does. He expects Bonnar to get raped and says Nick Diaz is the best boxer in UFC. He has a ton of videos and seems to know a LOT about this.

He rants on Dana too lol. He hates him as much as you do I think.

I think Nick would get torn up by Anderson, but nothing like Bonnar will be.

It is such a joke that we get Bonnar v Silva and Jones v Vitor, two awful match ups that nobody wants to see, when Dana could have made Silva vs Jones for the LHW title and sell a million PPVs

I read somewhere that Jones v Silva is "realistic" and "could happen" according to Dana.

There is literally no reason not to. Jones has cleaned out all the realistic contenders at 205 and Silva has nobody worth fighting for the 185 lb belt. Why GSP/Silva seems to be more on the UFC's mind than Silva/Jones is baffling to me.

Must admit I'd love to see GSP and Silva. Though I think Jones might have a chance again Silva, but I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable person. I do despise Jones though.

I love Anderson but think he could easily be wrestlefucked by either guy. GSP is the most explosive wrestler in MMA, and Jones is maybe the most dominant wrestler the way he destroyed guys like Bader, Rampage, and Rashad with his TDD and shots.

Silva's weakness is wrestling as Chael has shown, and I think both GSP and Jones have much more well rounded games and they could control Silva without getting caught. Who knows though, I would never count Silva out.

Fair enough. I'd love to see a Jones vs SIlva striking match though, from what I've seen from Jones he's quite lethal standing up too. Those legs...

Jones vs Silva standing would be sweet, I'm just not sure how much Jones would stand when he knows his wrestling is so sick (plus he's a Greg Jackson fighter and will probably stick to a tight gameplan)

but as far as their stand up.. Silva has the best technique in all of MMA IMO, but Jones with his length and unorthodox style would make for an awesome spectacle. Jones is too douchey though and would ruin it with his wrestling

He declined Chael because he is a pussy scared to take a different fighter on short notice. He wouldn't turn down anyone if he were given enough time to prepare.

I see Jones at HW by 2014. If a Jones/Silva fight is going to happen it needs to be now. Waiting is pointless

2012- the year MMA jumped the shark? I've never been so consistently mindblown by horrendous matchmaking

again, with the exception of the December card which has a night's worth of awesome matchups.
