He seems like a fun dude to share ideas with.

The downside is he talks too much and is bad with money. He owes tons of talent money from his ECW days.

Paul Heyman is a legend. Great manager and creative genius. But I'm tired of his promos. The best part of his promos is when Lesnar grabs the mic and talks shit. My favorite Paul Heyman was when he was on commentary with Jim Ross

Heyman would contend for the best talker in the history of professional wrestling. Strangely enough, he wasn't always nearly as good as he is now. He's an amazing manager, able to speak for anyone who can't speak for themselves as well as doing the other thing managers are supposed to do: try to get the crowd excited during the match by talking and mannerisms. Heyman's over the top mannerisms during a match are second to no one. He can make the crowd hate him and then love him without really changing anything about himself.

Heyman is also a creative genius. I love his booking work wherever he's been. I love what he did with ECW.

Heyman's weakness, though, is he is an awful business man. It was really his fault as a business man that ECW went under. He was horrible at paying people. He gets a TV deal and rather than make it work, spent way too much time insulting the people running the network. I understood he was frustrated, but his frustration burned bridges with not only TNN but with other networks who wouldn't want to work with someone who behaved like he did. I know he was upset that the TV was supposed to be toned down, but he was the one who signed the contract. The correct approach would have been to tone down the show but keep the PPV matches as intense as he wanted. He could have waited out the contract if he was upset, but he chose to go in a direction that only hurt him and his company. Sometimes you gotta play ball if you want to remain in business... but oh well.

But I am not placing all of this blame on Heyman. I mean, TNN was a bit unreasonable but still, Heyman signed the contract.

SO an amazing personality and creative genius, but he should never be in charge of the business end.

Heyman was so good at making people hate him as a heel commentator. I don't think any heel commentator has come close to doing what he did in terms of riling the audience up.

Heyman's one of the greatest promos ever, but I don't think he's in the top 3 or 5 manager wise as he wasn't really the total package like Heenan or Cornette was.

My only real big issue is that he talks an enormous load of shit to suck up to smart marks at these live shows he does and says things in promos just to be called the greatest promo by some random on Twitter, it's a bit sad because he's a really witty guy otherwise.

Paul Heyman is my favorite manager, one of my favorite wrestling personalities, and is the only thing interesting related to Brock Lesnar.

He honestly keeps Brock interesting. Brutes don't do well long term without a solid voice.

Paul Heyman is a genius and isn't given nearly enough credit for how much he impacted professional wrestling. We all say he's great for what he really did with ECW, but not enough of us really sit back and think about it. ECW influenced WWE's Attitude Era and because of that, they were able to defeat WCW. Furthermore, not only did it help WWE beat WCW, but the Attitude Era allowed WWE to launch itself and become the "entertainment phenomenon" that we know today. I put respect on his name for that.

Currently, I'm getting sick of his promos. They are feeling very repetitive, however, a lot of people still like them so I can't blame WWE or Paul for continuing with it. Don't fix it if it's not broken, brother.

And, of course, he's done wonders for Brock Lesnar, but even though Brock is a huge star and all, Paul's influence with ECW is far greater than what he's done with Brock.
