These random assaults with no rhyme or reason.

On Raw, we have Mike Knox randomly attack Rey Mysterio. Why? To make a statement? To be a bully? To be Generic Scary Big Man Who Attacks Little Man #646?

It's incredibly stupid to have people just attack others for the purpose of making a statement or whatever, it's boring and lacks any spark or creativity. WWE did the booking of this kind of thing perfectly in other parts of the show, everything falling into place with Jericho/Orton/Rhodes/Manu attacking Cena.

Does it piss you off when shit like that happens as well?

Discuss.

Because gangbeating is fun.

Nah, it gets repetitive when they have a beating ending. They should to like some dramatic stare off or something, send the fans home with the "WTF Face"

Yes, it pisses me off, but I know why they do it.
And it's because they are basically saying "we need to push this guy, but have no idea's, so here".
And because it's easy to geta reaction from fans in attendance when you attack the top babyface, even if it's a stupid attempt at a push.
But yes, it pisses me off.

It makes you gain sympathy for the victim, getting him over. If you have someone attack a face, it's easier for someone who isn't as great a talker. If he isn't great with promos, it makes sense. I'd rather go through a Mike Knox or Mark Henry ambush attack rather than seeing them try to get heat while talking, where the fans can lose their interest in it so easily.

and Rey Mysterio has gotten beaten up by everyone anyway, why can't Mike Knox join that list? It just adds fuel to Rey Mysterio being the stale, stupid underdog which the little kids love.

Easiest way to get someone over is to go for one of the top faces and have them take him out. Are they going to have him take out Cena. Fuck no he just returned and has momentum going. So next down the line is Batista or Rey so they picked Rey becuase he is over but not in the middle of an importent fued.

It does get annoying but who knows this time we might see a Knoxx and Mysterio feud? :shifty:

It doesn't shit me really. It is to get heat but it does get pretty repetitive and dry but it doesn't bother me. It is too hype a fued and that is one of the best ways to do it. With the example you gave, it is pretty much pointless with Mysterio being put over because most of the fans have seen it before and may see it as pointless and bathroom break but ultimately it is the beginning of a fued that could be good or could be bad.

What you just described was pretty much the same as too what was said to the Kane and Mysterio line but it ultimately unravelled itself into a good story with a pretty crappy overall ending. So, before you go off at something like this, give it time to play out and don't just judge by the way the story starts.

What feud did you watch between Kane and Rey? Definitely not the same one I watched. IDK if you could have possibly given a worse example.

Yeah, it's annoying, but whatever. It's like a minute if the show, it's just an easy way to push Knox. Besides, it'll just be a Shitsky push.

well there trying to get Mike Knox over.. I dunno what to think of it, but atleast there giving it a go...(who knows knox vs msyterio could be better than mysterio/kane,). Knox hasn't wrestled long matches in WWE, as i last recalll him/Test vs Sabu/RVD was a pretty decent length match, so maybe mysterio/knox could fit in there...

what's wrong with the Rk-Holics and Y2J bashing Cena..
