WWE News: Roman Reigns Rumored To Have A Giant ‘WrestleMania’ Opponent

Frankly, I'm kinda ok with it but bored with this option, like it or not with Wrestlemania in Florida WWE will do all they can to keep operation Reigns afloat. But if they are gonna kill another rumble I at least think they should give us something the fans crave.

Is this what should happen? Brain Strowman winning the rumble and Reigns defending the title against him?

Even though this rumor comes from that crappy site, Reigns vs Strowman is bound to happen at some point. It might not happen at WM 33, but we all know it's Vince's pipe dream.

Well technically it's already happened. Raw October 12, 2015. And I am sure there were some others since mainly Strowman's character was introduced in a feud against Reigns.

But yeah, if they build it up to a WrestleMania match, as long as it is not for a World title, I am fine with it.

This is not a Universal Title match that I want to see at WM33.. I'd be perfectly fine with it being for the US Title as it would have ENORMOUS value as a midcard title match.. but Strowman (while IMO has most of the Main Event talent esque qualities) shouldn't be in that match on the grand stage.

It's one of these cases where I'm reading this and my first reaction is "Cool. Give Roman a W on the biggest stage, get a pleasant surprise of a match and not have people gripe about Reigns since this'll be the 7th match from the top on the show. Aight"

But then I think about it and... Braun Strowman is a special case, because while he's getting better, that unbeatable aura he has is really all he's got going for him. It's not like he's going to main event or become a big star, he's a big unbeatable behemoth who'll be slain one day and that'll put a second guy over, then Strowman will lose a few more matches and he'll become Big Show.

This is... really an opportunity they can't waste on Roman Reigns. It won't make Roman get over even more, if anything else fans may see him "burying" Braun and get him more Cena-heat. Why?

If they really plan on doing something with Zayn - thank you for at least tempting though why did he job clean to Owens grr - then he should go over Strowman. Clean. Period. Full stop. But then Goliath has been slain and Strowman won't feel special anymore, so I guess it could be a good Roman showcase at Mania that could be worked in a way to hook new viewers (something I believe Roman might find cool) without overexposing him to his usual detractors. Awesome! Thumbs up.

I don't want to see Roman at all... ever but as long as he doesn't headline I will count my blessings.

I think he should face Cena... keep both of those guys away from the title and Taker that way.

Roman vs Strowman would make a fine mid card US title match. Id have no problem with that. But for the Universal Title? Hell no. Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho would make so much more sense.
