The tag team division is finally being brought back. Let me tell you, last night was the hardest I have marked out in a LOOOOONG time. When Evan Bourne hit the SSP, I literally jumped and yelled as hard as I could. I'd been waiting for 4 years for him to get a championship, and I marked the hell out. But enough about my gay man crush on Bourne.

Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne are the new tag team champions. Very good team there in my opinion.

We still have Otunga and Migullicutty (I hate his freaking name, can never spell it right, and I hate typing it) another team that is okay.

The Miz and R-Truth now have a team. This right here is golden, and I called it a few weeks back when they ran into each other backstage. So glad to see it happen.

The Uso's have been recently pushed, and I have to admit, I like them.

Now, thats four strong tag teams in the tag team division. But there is at least 3-4 more tag teams they could pull off, and that I can see them doing if they stay on this current path.

Zack Ryder with anyone. Yes, anyone. (Personally, would like to see him with either Primo, Barreta, or Hawkins)

Santino with anyone.

Then you could bring in a tag team (Young Bucks FTW)

And maybe a one time reunion of Bookdust. Both Booker T and Goldust have one more run in them I think. I loved their promos.

And there is like 2-3 Tag teams that can be pulled up from FCW.

So I think in the next few weeks, we will see a full fledged revival of Tag Team Wrestling. Cruiserweight next?

That isn't it.

I hate all of the tag teams (other than the uso's) you listed you want to know why?
They aren't tag teams their two singles wrestlers put together because there aren't any tag teams. Tag Teams are guys that work well in the ring together they have similar styles and stay together for years not until they lose the tag belts and turn on each other which is what most of the tag teams above have done or will do. After how many years did EnC break up how many years did it take the Hardy's, Hollywood Blondes, bushwackers etc. None of the teams you've listed other than the Uso's and Young Bucks are an actual tag team. Their two singles guys thrown haphazardly together and you need look no further than Kofi and Evan they've decided to team cause it'd be fun? Then when they lose they'll go their own way or disappear completely.

^With your reasoning I would consider Otunga & McGillicutty to be a "proper" tag team rather than just two guys thrown together.

I don't mind if some teams are two singles guys thrown together and I think that the division should be a combination of those teams and those that have been together for a long time like The Uso's, Young Bloods, Hunico/Epico etc. One of the best tag teams in the past five years in WWE was Miz & Morrison and that was simply two guys thrown together.

I will say that I much prefer teams like The Uso's were they are clearly two guys working together. Tag teams should wear similar gear so that they look like they are a team and should come out to music specific for the team. Teams should also have a name, like MNM, rather than being Miz & Morrison. With Bourne & Kingston I want them to have wear matching outfits, or at least similar colour, I want them to come out to some new music and I want the team to have a name.

The division should be filled with mostly proper teams and then padded out with teams filled with two singles wrestlers paired together if they have nothing else going for them.

I have high hopes for the division now though because WWE have clearly put more effort into the division in the past few weeks.

With HHH wanting to rebuild the tag division. He probably made a good choice with Miz/Truth and Bourne/Kofi. I can actually see these two teams working.

Well i agree with the fact teams tend to work better if they have a similar look and style but also teams like the Miz & Morrison complimented each other well. I have to be honest, I don't like the team of Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston it seems to be a lazy attempt at creating a team because they have nothing else they can do with the two guys and them winning the tag team titles feels rushed. With Truth & The Miz they have atleast hinted to being a team and have cut a decent promo on Raw this past week.

Having some teams like that are good. But right now the majority of the teams in the WWE currently on the main roster are at least 75% two singles guys randomly thrown together. Should be 60 / 40 the other way

What annoys me is Evan and Kofi was thrown together without explanation and had about %15 build going into their Tag Team Title win. At least Truth and Miz was explained.

The Kings of Wrestling are suppose to be brought in to the main roster as a team, that will add another full fledged tag team. Young Bucks also had a tryout, and with HHH supposedly wanting cruiserweights and tag teams I would assume they would be a perfect pick as well. Imo they should also bring Hunico/Epico from FCW as a team. Management was reportedly high on Huncio while he was performing as Sin Cara, and Epico can speak perfect English so it makes sense to me.

With those three teams plus the Usos and McGuillOtunga you have five full fledged tag teams. If they use Miz/Truth and Kingston/Bourne to put them over (since these four are well established wrestlers with some name recognition) I think the tag division could be amazing.

I completely agree, I hope that all three of those teams make it to the main roster by the end of the year because it would add so much depth to the division. I am sure that WWE would be able to put together a couple more teams as well that would make sense made up from midcarders and guys from FCW.
