Forums are geared towards one specific topic (most of the time) and involve people discussing the same thing. Media deals with everything in the media.

Back on topic...

I use Instagram, Twitter, and Vine. I follow no one on Instagram, barley anyone on Twitter, and I am not even sure about Vine as I only signed up to post a video on Twitter. lol So I learned to keep your social media circles as small as possible and you wont ever have to leave the comfort of living under your rock.
