They dropped the ball big time.

I'm talking about this Kane storyline that is currently going on... In my opinion, they dropepd the ball big time on it. When it started, it looked like it would be another solid storyline to add to Raw, that would end up with a cool twist... Everyone had idea's what it would be, but noone knew for sure, so it was pretty intriguing....
But it's been nowhere what I expected to be honest.
I mean, Rey fucking Mysterio? What the hell has he ever done to Kane? Lol.
It just seems like a chessy excuse. In fact, it almost seems like they had something else planned, and threw this together at the last second.
So here's my problems with this storyline...

-Rey mysterio seems kinda random.
-If they choose to make an explanation about why Rey was attacked, it won't progress the feud, because Kane already said it was because Rey was a "slippery slime"... That's pretty dumb if you ask me. The only other way they can make this make sense is for Kane to be jeolous of Rety, but that would also suck hard, because there's many more people to be jeolous of.
-It hasn't made Kane any better off. Or Rey for that matter...

Not to mention, rey, who was "beaten beyond human belief" came back a week after it was revealed to be him, and was in the best shape of his life, sporting new tats, better muscles, and a big smile...
So, I guess beaten beyond human belief ACTUALLY means "taken to the tattoo parlour and gym"...

And last but not least, they coud've made it much better.
They could've had it lead to Kane getting a mask back, Kane bringing Bearer back, Vince coming back, soemthing to do with Taker, a new character, ANYTHING.... This seems lackluster to me.

So, do you think wwe has dropped the ball on this storyline? Or is it what you wanted?

The story was only made because they didn't know if Rey would resign with WWE and having Kane do whatever he did to him would be a good way to write off Rey. Now that Rey is back they really don't know what to do.

The "reason" why Kane did this to Mysterio is becuase Mysterio is wearing a mask, and according to Kane, make Mysterio a slimeball...I don't think anyone should judge this until it's finished.

i was hoping that Rey wouldve returned at Unforgiven, not Raw, and be "taken over" by Kane. He couldve been Kane's bitch and did everything he asked because he could control his mind. Then Rey wouldve ended up winning the belt in the scramble and give it to Kane. They continue with Rey as being mind washed for a few weeks/months until someone close to him starts talking to him. He wouldve eventually have a gimmick title match against Kane at Royal Rumble. Rey would win the title and Kane would go back to the shitter.

Thats what i thought was going to happen. I think it wouldve been better than what theyre doing now.

but remember when everyone was pissed about Flair burying younger talent in the retirment angle?....then it evolved into HBK/Jericho...now look where it is. Just give this time and it could turn into something great.

I agree with MikeRaw.. This storyline could have been much better then it turned out to become.
I for one was looking forward to the Masked Kane dominating his opponents and not jobbing.
Last monday we saw Kane holding his old mask so who knows what will happend.

I don't think it's right to say now. So far it has been lackluster, but maybe it can improve. I actually think there's a twist coming somewhere. There has to be.

It has really kinda sucked. IMO, they gave this a big sort of build up to Kane getting his mask back which made people watch and then he told them it wasn't his mask it was Rey's which I thought could be good. They didn't know where to go from there so they just said all that other random lame crap to make a GOOD match for them at a PPV or something. I don't know, its kinda confusing! Im still hoping for Kane to re-mask

Well, I'm not completly disapointed with the way its going. Kane picked Rey out, not randomly, but because of his mask. Then Kane did a promo last week on RAW holding his old mask. Which led to me marking out. So, im a bit confused on where there going with this, and the way Rey came back, as you said, from the gym and tattoo shop was dumb. But, I think they can still make something good from this.
