Can't remember if they did it this year or not but NJPW experimented with this concept for New Years Dash and it was great. Normally the card is announced day of anyway bc it's the day after WK but they instead just made every match a surprise as the entrances hit. It was the show Kenny teamed with Okada. They also did it for an American Halloween show a few years ago, great stuff

The WCW show names I want to see back are Bash at the Beach, Spring Stampede, and Road Wild. Those were my favorite WCW events along with Halloween Havoc.
