Last week we learned that The Addictions Christopher Daniels asked ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness for an opportunity to prove to the world that and Frankie Kazarian could defeat ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon. This is not a request for a title opportunity, more so a matter of Daniels and Kaz wanting to prove themselves.
McGuinness would not only approve the matchup, based a combination of The Addiction’s recent victory over #Reborn Matt Sydal & ACH on ROH Television and reDRagon retaining their championships at Supercard of Honor IX over The Kingdom, it is now official. The Addiction will face the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions reDRagon with the championships on the line!
Daniels and Kazarian have stated this is about way more than any championship. This is a matter of pride to them. The duo have faced and defeated numerous top tag teams throughout the world, but yet they have not been able to defeat the best tag team in the world today, reDRagon.
This Saturday night in San Antonio Texas it’s time for the Addiction to prove they are as great as they believe they are. Is reDRagon their Achilles heel? Is The Addictions time as an elite tag team behind them? Come this Saturday night deep in the heart of Texas, we will all find out.
