Well...this match is (finally) happening and we know 1 of the 5 (may-be 6) women competing will be the first
ever woman to carry THE briefcase...and while I'm excited about the match itself...I can only wonder how the
SmackDown creative team will use the the briefcase cash in and how it will factor into the long term plans
for the division...and as you all know...I have plenty of opinions and ideas as far as the women's division
goes...so I thought I'd take some time to run over a few possible (but highly unlikely) booking ideas.

So...with that introduction out of the way...let me get started.

1). Carmella Cashes In...On The RAW Women's Champion:
So...the rumor going around is that Enzo & Cass are being split up soon with Cass getting a singles push
as a heel. A smart and extremely sneaky cash in by Carmella would automatically see her switched to the RAW
brand as the new Champion, get her away from Ellsworth and reunite her with real life partner Cass as the
two become a Bonnie & Clyde style couple on RAW.

This could happen as early as Great Balls of Fire and would also be a way to draft a RAW star to the blue
brand in place of Carmella (Emma please!)

Not only would it be a shocking and unexpected moment...but it would also show Carmella's "street smarts" and
elevate her as a performer and make up for the absolutely awful booking she has had since arriving on the main
roster.

2). Becky Cashes In...And Turns:
Now don't me wrong...Babyface Becky is awesome...in fact she may-be the most likeable performer on the entire
WWE roster...but I think we can all agree that a heel turn would do wonders for her.

When compared to Charlotte & Sasha...Becky has hardly changed since arriving on the main roster and the best
way for her to change would be a sneaky cash in on Naomi...or even better...the newly turned face Charlotte
followed by a change of attitude and some over the top violence towards the rest of the division.

Of course this will not likely happen so the SmackDown Women's division can keep its Face/Heel balance...and
that's a real shame...but I'm still hoping for Becky to claim the briefcase no matter how she will eventually
cash it in.

3). Natalya Cashes In...And Finally Gets Her Moment:
So its no secret that I'm a Natalya fan. I think she's seriously underrated as an in-ring performer and she is
extremely easy on the eyes (Injuries aside...Tyson Kidd is a lucky man) and I honestly think its time Natalya
had her moment...and the best way for her to do that would be at Wrestlemania.

I could see Natalya winning the briefcase and simply carrying it around for months on end only for her to finally
make her move at the biggest event on the WWE calender. It wouldn't really matter who Nattie cashed in on...as
long as she finally had her "moment" and was rewarded for all her hard work, patience and dedication.

4). The Same Night Claim & Cash In:
So the SmackDown creative team just booked a women's title match for the MitB pay per view as Naomi will take on
the recently returned Lana. Now depending on the match order of the pay per view itself we could see a repeat of
the claim & cash in on the same night that Dean Ambrose gave us at last year's event.

The main reason for this would be that the creative team may want to put the title on Charlotte or Becky but still keep
them booked as a face. If Lana (with help from Rusev) cheats and wins the title...Charlotte or Becky could cash in and claim the title without pinning Naomi.

I personally hope this doesn't happen...and I can list a few reasons why:
~ Naomi hasn't won a match of any kind since April 4th and she deserves a longer and more successful title reign.
~ I'm all for surprise booking and shocking moments but Lana literally just arrived on SmackDown and having her
win the title (even for a minute or two) would be a slap in the face to all the other women on the entire roster.
~ The briefcase could be an important story telling device later on down the line and it would seem like a waste
to have it won and used on the same night.

5). Charlotte...World Champion?:
Yeah...this would never happen...but if the WWE really wanted to push the envelope Charlotte cashing in on
Jinder Mahal at a future pay per view event could be one of the most shocking moments in WWE history.

I'm honestly not going to go into detail on how I'd "book it" and I'm not even sure the Women's MitB contract
would allow for such a move...but...it truly would be a shocking and game changing move if the WWE went through
with it.

I mean...Sexy Star did it in Lucha Underground right?

Well...that about covers me for this time around. Yes...I have a lot of spare time and I spend a lot of it thinking
about Charlotte & Becky keeping each other warm in a cold hotel ro...I mean I spend a lot of it thinking about
the WWE Women's division...and I honestly haven't been this excited for a match since Hell in a Cell last year.

Let's just hope that this history making ladder match is better than that...uneven affair.

Well...be sure to leave your thoughts, comments, opinions and cash in booking ideas below and I'll see you all
around the traps.

I don't know many people who would like to see a woman take on a man in the WWE. I wouldn't mind it but that is something I don't see returning in the PG era.

I would like to see Becky turn heel so I like that idea. I mean to me, she would work better as a heel and be taken more seriously.

Credibility wise, do I think Charlotte can beat up Jinder Mahal? Yeah. Easily.

However... yeah that ain't going over well. lol

Fun Fact: I just realized typing this that "lol" looks like a head and arms raised next to it.

Solid options you have, though! It'll be pretty interesting with whoever laying in the wings. :)

Why would winning a title automatically put Carmella on Raw exactly?
I don't know...you tell me...

Because RAW would need to have a Women's title...so instead of the performer moving the belt...
the belt moves the performer.
MitB doesn't permit you to challenge for their belt.
Didn't Edge (way back in the day) cash in on a different brands main title?
And...
I'm unaware of the actual "small/fine" print on the MitB contracts.

Edge did not do that, no. That incarnation of the briefcase was phrased in a way that you could challenge for any title, including the women's title if you'd prefer. As such, there were no limitations. That is no longer the case. We now have dedicated Raw/Smackdown briefcases, which means that there is only one title that you can challenge for.

This sadly also eliminates the possibility of Charlotte as world champion, which is a shame. You've got some creative ideas there.

Okay...Thanks for the info...I've only been back following wrestling for just over a year and
I wasn't sure of the briefcase limitations.

Thanks...I try my best.
