So thoughts on Nikki Cross A.S.H winning this?

I'll just start out by saying great for her, she pitched a gimmick which meant something to her, had it approved and basically just earned / got given the biggest moment in her WWE tenure off of the back of it which I think nobody saw coming.

With that being said though, I don't like the decision of her winning at all. The whole presentation just looks like someone is playing a rib on her and I feel like it's a decision they're going to rue, although I hope i'm wrong and they pull something off with it. Just gives me vibes of them giving Otis the briefcase last year then as time progressed, they realised it was actually a bad decision and had to scramble to fix their mistake.​

I Think its much less of a joke than Otis tbh, don't care for those comparisons at all. Gimmick aside, Nikki is someone I don't think anyone would be surprised getting a title run (maybe says something about depth too idk) but NO ONE saw Otis as world champion (except you, whoever is about to quote this and say you did)

Plus even before the gimmick they gave her those wins over Rhea and Charlotte so clearly they like Nikki, but I don't really see this being a great MITB run. Crowd ended up coming around but man she got one of the deadest reactions on the entrances so not stood sign.

Sooner she cashes in the better IMO

Yeah, her entrance was crickets but by the time that she won they were cheering for her. It’s too early to tell to me whether this will be a good MITB or not, but I’ll give it a chance and see where it goes.

Like Chris said, they obviously like Nikki and see something in her, so hopefully it works out.

The goofy Cross before this superhero shit I could give a pass to winning the mitb and title but not this current version, it's not champion material to me even in an almost dead womens division.

Yeah Dale and I are in agreement I don't like the decision and I think Liv winning would of been far better for her vs Nikki I'll never take seriously. I've thrown my hands up on Bliss at this point with her Character at this point and I'm in the skip the Segment/Match mode with Nikkk and we've barely started with her.

I read a report that Vince McMahon and company are very high on Nikki Cross. They even love the fact that she busted her butt, created her own gimmick and ran the ball with it. This gimmick I don't like. I really don't but I like Cross and like to see her get opportunities. This one is giving her one. I do remember on Raw Episodes before this gimmick, she gotten wins over both Rhea and Charlotte Flair. If they didn't see any faith in her then she would have jobbed out. I am honestly going to wait and see for NIkki Cross. I am at least happy that someone new one the case this year than Bliss/Asuka again.

I knew Liv Morgan was not going to win the case because of her overcoming everyone on the go home show of SD. Sometimes that is the deciding factors on who is winning and who is losing. Plus Liv's storyline was botched at the end when Sonya ended up giving her the spot as a replacement for Carmella. That is what did Liv Morgan in before MITB.

If she actually sees the cash in through and doesn’t lose it I’ll be shocked. Personally I can’t take her seriously as champ with a fuckin superhero gimmick. Like others I’m happy for Nikki as she seems like a hard worker but just cause I like someone doesn’t mean I think they should be champ lol.

And also the end of the match was hilariously stupid how they’re all fighting and she just grabs it.

Nikki is far far more interesting than Rhea and actually has charisma unlike Rhea who is one of the most awkward performers I've seen in years charismatically. So yeah if Rhea can be given the title experimentally so can Nikki.

Albeit it might just end the same way with them realizing it's not working and throwing it right back at Charlotte
