Kevin Kelly first reported that The Von Erich family would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2009. It has now been confirmed by the family on their official website as the following statement has been released: "We are honored to announce that the Von Erich Family will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 4th. The induction will be held in Houston, TX. For those of you that have been asking about Kevin's sons, we are planning on including Ross and Marshall in the ceremony." I could of sworn that the WWE have already put the Von Erich Family in the Hall of Fame. Congrats to them anyway.

The Von Erich story is one of the saddest things in Pro Wrestling. If all of them avoided drugs and the pressure of living up to their names, wrestling would be completely different than it is now. All of them had the WWF look and following, it's a shame that they were never really recognized.
